In this old barn in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Peter Chapman
developed his first sequentially locking 3 dimensional puzzle, the snake.
Since 1981, he has added to his line of puzzles that move and articulate
like the animals they represent. Sons Genesis and Noah grew up learning
and working with their father. They are joined in the studio now by
Billy Walshe, a fellow woodworker and videographer, as well as
neighbors Marge Ziemba and Rebekah Kielty.
And of course, there are the occasional possums, raccoons and black snakes.
