I think it does. Maybe even fix some of the bugs. I'd say controls, too, but I honestly think that the controls are more playable than what people seem to make them out to be. I know not a lot of people like Crystal Dynamics, but I think they could pull it off pretty well.

Exactly my story, I was 9 or 10 when I played this back in 2006-2007 yeah didn't play the game at release, I would be 6 if I did so, lol

This was my first tomb raider too (and still favorite) the first time I played it was on ps2 when I had 5, 6 years... I have nostalgia every time when i see this game, good old memories :)

From what the writer, Murti Schofield has said, I'm fairly certain that potential sequels weren't entirely planned out during the making of AOD. There's some documents you can find online on the TR forums, google "Murti Schofield Tomb Raider AoD Beta Documents" and you'll find them There's a few times "Game VII" is mentioned throughout the documents and it's mostly just jotted down ideas with a very very general outline of what the setup and ending of TR7 would have been. There's nothing in there about the plot for Tomb Raider 8. Basically TR7 would have been Lara going to Turkey and having to traverse through the Cappadocian underground where the last of the Nephillim live. Karel would have taken over as leader of the Cabal (everybody from the end of AoD survives except for Eckhardt and Boaz, Karel's "death" was actually just a transformation into a "higher being') and continued his quest to revive the Nephillim. At the end, Lara successfully destroys Karel's facilities and ruins his plans before escaping the underground city. Nothing is ever said about a third game and details on Kurtis' involvement are vague, but there was one dot point that suggested he could have been taken prisoner by the Cabal and held captive in the underground city. Murti Schofield has also been independently continuing to develop the lore and story of AoD and TR7/8 for years and there's a few fun articles online where he talks about his ideas for a continuation, mainly on the website Tomb of Ash. One of the big things I remember reading about was that the daughter of Vasiley, Von Croy's contact who had access to the Obscura Engravings, had abandoned the Lux Veritatis and defected to The Cabal, travelling to Cappadocia with Karel, Gunderson, Muller etc.

They're celebrating 20 Years of Tomb Raider. They've been doing a different game each month. You won't get a remake due to the toxicity associated with Angel of Darkness.

they should remaster this game for ps4 and xbox one. we're already takng care of the improvements for the pc version of TRAOD.

All of the Tomb Raider games are on Steam right now! You can buy them all (excluding Rise of the Tomb Raider) in one tidy little package. All of the older ones by core (1-5, and maybe AOD) will run just fine on a weak PC.

It was originally gonna be released in November 2002. However, when the deadline was missed, the developers at Core Design requested Eidos to extend the release date to November 2003. However, at a short notice and behind the developers' backs, Eidos announced a Spring 2003 release date before delaying it once more to June 2003.

the game had a huge amount of cut content. You can easily say that the game wasn't finished yet. It's the fault or core because they wasted to much time on experimenting with the ps2. but also Eidos is the blame. they put alots of pressure on core. This game had so much potential, but they core and Eidos ruined it.
