Because the gods find it funny. *Yahwe fragments his personality into another god* Yahwe: Hey…psst, Allah. Wouldn’t it be funny if if we go down to earth and invent basically identical religions with slight differences and tell the humans to tell the others that they are wrong and themselves are right? Allah: Dude that’s hilarious they’ll be murdering and judging and despising each other for generations for no fucking reason. Yahwe: I know right!? Also hopefully in a couple thousand years some Jesus loving Americans will get some really fucked up ideas and do some horrendous shit in my name without understanding why. Allah: Yeah lol, and maybe some guys will crash some planes into a building it it’ll make the white ones terrified of people with different religion or skin and they’ll start hating each other even more. Oh my god man that’s so funny, aren’t humans fucking stupid?
