This is real corn, non-GMO, grown in the campo, made into masa, then tenderly patted to become the staple of Mexican life. Here, we visit Las Sanjuaneras weaving cooperative where the women make beautiful cloth with cotton threads dyed with native plants. They greet us with a gift: a handmade tortilla dusted with salt and rolled into a flute.
