Just followed this procedure on my KTM 1190 rear wheel. Stopped the persistent leaking spoke! Only thing I wish was I'd actually measured the rim before assuming 2" tape would be wide enough (it wasn't quite enough to cover the spokes). Glad I found this tutorial - solved my problem for good.

Best part of building bikes is always unboxing all the ordered products.

Hey CC. This was an awesome video...hope the people from warp 9 are watching...perhaps they can offer a tubeless spoke wheel option down the road. I have a 2016 Yamaha Super Tenere ES with the OEM spoke tubeless wheels. Haven’t had a gradual, slow, fast or any leak yet. Can’t wait to see the WR back in action!

cool setup in your garage man... just a question, i have my motorcycle tube type rims... i bought front and rear tires which the front is tube type and all i can find the other tire for rear is tubeless tire now, is it safe to put tube in the tubeless type tire on the rear of my motorcycle?

dude how you will work with spoke tension - this is periodically needed specially after new wheels 10h usage . And how you will work with spokes if you need to remove rim defect after road pit

Trying to buy one in the next year if I can save enough money. I was so worried that Yamaha may stop making it since the romour came out in 2017. Now I am so happy 😊.

What happens if you need to change or tighten a spoke?

So a couple of problems trying this. 1) needed to drill out a larger hole to fit in the new valve stem. 2) the rim has little rubber plug that basically popped out when I put the tire up to pressure letting all the air out. Unsure what to do, trying to search for a rim plug to screw in so the air isn't all escaping.

What happens when you need to tighten the spokes?

Do we have to repeat the process when changing a new tyre?..

My uncle was in a motorcycle accident recently and went to the hospital for two broken wrists and pelvis. He was in surgery for 10 hrs one day and about 3hrs the next. He got out of surgery and in recovery right now. He has at least 3 months before he can put any weight on his legs and he needs to learn how to walk again. Thanks for the good vibes

Are you sure it's a 7ah battery or is that just by number. The F800gs has a ytx14 (12ah) a motobatt lipo is 5ah. A motobatt AGM is 14ah with spacer or 16.5ah without a spacer

That gearing might be a bit low. I believe standard supermoto gearing is 14/44 i would atleast go down to a 13/47

Just bought new torque wrench from Harbor Freight for 20 dollies because the 150 dollar one I bought and use once broke. And the 20 dollar doing way better the the experience one lol. A really got more use out it lol

I would use 4200 instead on 5200 as it is more flexible and is semi removable if you ever want to take it off.

It'll look dope if you change the fearings to something else on the 450

You went a tad overboard with all the prepping. Using the 4412N without all the prep and sealant works just fine as long as there are no air bubbles and he tape doesn’t overlap over a spoke nipple.. Been running it on my DRZ for months now.
