I made the same lamp a few years ago, but then it was diode and without a dimmer and turned on with a button, which I didn’t like, and finally decided to repeat it again but with a normal lamp and a touch switch. This is most likely a loft-style lamp, or if it is called something else, then write in the comments. For the lamp I used an inexpensive 120-220 volt dimmer, a bronze socket, black walnut and maple wood. I grease the sole of the planer with camellia oil. Thank you for watching.

Thanks a lot! In fact, I recently started working with hand tools - a few years ago, for personal reasons, I sold the entire workshop and machines, but I wanted to work and bought some hand tools! For example, I learned how to work as a planer only a couple of months ago, when I bought a good expensive planer! As for the Japanese saw, it seems to be very easy to work with! For more than 25 years I have worked only on machines in the carpentry, and only now I am learning to work with hand tools myself.

I know it's probably not an incandescent light but you shouldn't touch the globe with bare hands. The oil in the hand creates uneven heat patterns. Really nice piece
