Today we will be creating the map of world 1 from Super Mario Bros. 3! This may or may not become a series where I create each and every world from Mario Bros. 3. Let me know what you think in the comments! Would you like to see more maps from this game? When I first began this map, I didn't think it would end of being this tiny! Sometimes the paper printout can be misleading... I do think it's pretty fun to make things at this tiny scale though.

It looks amazing! The details on the castle looks great. If I could make a suggestion, maybe you can do an Earthbound map next?

@@Kerobyxclay Earthbound doesn't have an overworld map per se, but you could pick one of the town maps, such as Onett or Twoson. Any town from that game would be a decently complicated project, but definitely an awesome one.

Such stellar work! The level of detail and precision is off-the-charts here, especially with the Castle piece, as others have mentioned. The Toad Houses look super cute, as well. And I really enjoy listening to the commentary, as you explain the process, and how certain steps are unreasonably tedious - it's refreshing to hear such transparency! Wonderful work, Kerobyx! This was a delight to watch. :D

Love it can’t wait to see more the reason grass and rocks on world 1 is because it’s called grassland world 2 desert land world 3 water land world 4 giant land world 5 sky land world 6 ice land world 7 pipe land world 8 dark land I think or browsers world good job

I love it! I can't wait for more. Something I would have loved to see, but understand you didn't do, was take small squares of clay, and use paint markers to draw the level icons. I still love the map. Keep up the great work.

I found this hobby because of your Channel about a Year ago. A month ago I build my own SMB3 W1. Don't make videos, but it's a great, calming thing while watching movies or something. Whenever I watch you it still looks like you have way more of an idea what you are doing than me, but I still realy like it. My favorite Videos are those Map/World creations.

That's awesome to hear! I hope you continue to make things! You can hide a lot behind a camera. Half the time I don't know what I'm doing either. I just go for it lol. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you accept that nothing ever works how you want it to, you'll keep having fun! Keep crafting, and if you want to share what you've made, I would love to see it!

Have you consider precutting a template with a photo editor instead of printing the sheet and cutting with the knife? Or maybe isolating certain details so it's a cleaner cut.

I just made it to the scale that the bigger maps would fit the width of the paper. So I didn't really know what size I would end up with. I usually work better at small scales like this. I hope that answers your question lol.

two maps from other games i think would be fun to see you make are spirit tracks and phantom hourglass's maps. they are zelda games and the maps are simple but have lots of diversity in them
