Looks like Makita has a good selection of hedge trimmers available in India! They just have different part numbers than the US ones! makita.in/product-category/tools/ope-tools/hedge-trimmer-ope-tools/

This video is misleading, per Makita the Edger EE400MP is designed to work only with the GAS version of the multi-head trimmer.

I'm looking into this setup myself. Tired of loud 2 cycle and constant maintenance. If I could get say 2 seasons out of each, it would still save you a ton in fuel and maintenance!

The Pole saw part. How high does it reach, with and without the extension?

It's about 3' so with base and stretching out your arms maybe get 5-6" total without the extension. Having used it it's much more solid without the extension so it feels much better to use like that.

@@OhioPowerTool I was afraid of that. I found a bunch of battery pole saws that can go up to 9.5 feet, and for much less than $500 as it would cost for the head, extension and saw head. As much as I love Makita, I already have the straight hedge trimmer and string trimmer as seperate tools. I sadly can't justify it for the cost, and for something shorter. :'(
