Thank you! So happy to find instructional videos on the 2704. The manuals aren’t that easy to follow from time to time, so a visualization is greatly appreciated. I am having trouble on my 2704 to tilt further than 35 degrees, any suggestions on that problem? 🙂
Thanks! Yeah, might be sawdust collected in the mechanism or maybe the plastic gear is broken. I know i had problems getting it to 0 degrees and the plastic gear was worn off.
I think it kind of a factory issue I have it to it’s because the iron bracket that holds the red thing for your 0 to 45 is in the way from 35 to 45 so or they had to make a beter bracket or the had to make te silver plate bigger to you had some more room or they had to put the 0 to 45 numbers more to the left I have trouble with like 40 to 45 is hard for me and I made everything perfect in the 0 when I really try to push it to 45 is made the bracket bend 😅
Hello there ! Short question : I have bought a Makita 2704 saw (second hand), but I did not get the two wrenches needed to unlock and change the blades. And it seems impossible to get any information on the sizes of these wrenches or get them as replacement parts. I think it is a thin 19mm key, but would be very helpful if anyone could confirm. Thanks a lot !
My angle handle got stuck during this operation and it wont let go..leaving me with no possebility to change angle....any idea why the angle handle lock is stuck?
@@atikam2956 the lever was stuck so the wheel didn't turn...I needed to flip the saw, remove the cover underneath and twist the large hex nut a bit...then I managed to loosen it....now it works...hopefully for as long time. Thanks for the video...😊😀
