Don’t I look dapper in the thumb nail!, as you know I’m all about the health and safety and I am trying to stick to it ish!!, anyway a work colleague gave me there makita chainsaw to fix so that’s what I did ( plot spoiler it was easy) I think whoever used it last cut up some old railway sleepers!! They are full of all sorts of crap!! Anyway as luck would have it we had a load of wood to cut up so I got to give the chainsaw a really good test!! I used to have 3x of these and we ran them hard, always overheating. The XGT chainsaws are night and day better, no more overheating.

Jon you're going to be disappointed in me but for garden tools I went for Husqvarna. I've got a battery chain saw, long reach pole chain saw and a brush cutter. They're all better in tests over Makita 😳. But the batteries are expensive. On the plus side I have got a Makita hedge trimmer 😅

Oh dude, you ain’t right the “better than makita” when tested. Have you watched arborists and their tests? Most didn’t like Stihl battery powered. Most liked Husq. But even more like Makita the best. Over dewalt and Milwaukee, of course.

Ah who doesn't love a good socket set? Hey Jon, I just got a Katsu brand palm router that's an absolute clone of the Makita DRT50 and takes LXT batteries. I know you're not keen on knock-offs but I can't fault it, works really well, built solid, and don't you think the genuine model is a bit too pricey? My batteries are all rip-offs too. How fucked am I when Makita Man finds out? 🥺
