One of the only vids that shows and explains the double bevel action! Made my mind up I'm cancelling my order of a Kapex KS60 that's continually being delayed and taking the plunge into the 40v system. Thanks man!
Dream saw :compact ,battery ,precise ,angle 45 both ways, light weight, not noise, slide, plus is of reliable brand MAKITA, my problem I’ll never have this available were i live, and i bet its expensive which , that i can live with, thanks for the great video, I’ll be dreaming to have it 😂
It's a great saw and it's remarkable the size of material it can cut . i think i need to set mine up for the longer cuts . It costs around £980 for the saw and batteries . Hope you get to have a play with one and i'm glad you liked the video 👍
Thanks for this, cutting 90mm skirting standing up, was what I was concerned about. Great to see a real Chippie, doing a real review. Will it cut an 88mmx88mm post all the way through?
Glad you liked it 👍 i was trying to find info out on the DLS110 to see if it would cut 95mm skirting upright as it's so much easier but there was no info easily found anywhere . When the LS002G came out i looked at loads of reviews and i think it was Tools n Stuff briefly mentions it so i bought the saw and decided to do my own quick video to help others .
@@jompy151 I am very grateful for the answer, but could you, as one of the first users, make a video about the possibilities of maximum cuts of this saw having workpieces of 40x80 and 30x80, cutting them while standing, and lying with your head overwhelmed at 45 degrees? making a simple 45 degree cut
how are you finding the accuracy so far? A lot of reviews focus on larger lumber, but trim (skirting, etc.) really requires accuracy to end up with tight consistent miter joints. These smaller saws also require the use of the bevel a lot more as large skirting (base) has to be cut on the flat. Any issue there with bevels on the flat being consistent the full length of the cut? Thanks!!
To be honest i've nopt used it loads for fine work did do some 300mm x 18mm mdf facia with it and the bevel mitres seemed fine , i was quite happy with the mitre joints in the skirting too 👍
Hi buddy sorry for the late reply , thats a hard one as i've never cut any on it and it depends on shape and style . Rumour has it that makita are bringing out a bigger bladed 40v saw 🤔 Sorry i couldn't help more .
@@jompy151 spent the last 15 mins skipping through scott brown carpentrys video and also tools and stuff video of this saw but cant find that 185mm blade swap. I have seen it but cant for the life of me remember where
