Bought this thing. Absolutely HATE it! Not variable speed so no control. It does come with a nice set of bits but I'll always go to my variable speed drill for driving screws rather than this thing.
I'm considering a cordless screwdriver weak enough not to destroy those Philips heads. Does it have any torque adjustment? Yeah, it may sound weird, but PC components and PC boards can be easily destroyed with high torque power tools. I searched for and purchased a cheap one from Aliexpress but this one cannot screw/unscrew cooling fans, just too weak. So, I was looking for something stronger but capable of low torque. This one came out of Amazon search and Makita is a reputable brand. So, I was almost in the process ordering it. Yet, I wasn't sure it has any 'softer' functionality.
You need power tools to turn a tiny screw? Buddy, just use a screwdriver 😂 You're already worried about stripping screws out but you wanna use a powered driver vs just a simple screwdriver 🤦🤦
I don't work on computers myself , but people who I seen do reviews on cordless screwdriver like this Makita, the 7.2v Makita screwdriver and impact, the metabo 3.6v ( Hikoki outside the us) and the Milwaukee 4v . Vessel also makes good electric precision screwdrivers
