@@englishhomestead recently used it to cut FRP, its a plastic type panel used in kitchens in restaurants and in medical office applications as well, as it is easy to wipe clean.
It wad your comment the other day,I thought I should review it! I might do a few more reviews of things over the coming weeks as I always watch those video before buying something.
@@AbellTo yes! I made it. I'm 43p richer now. Feels good to have reached that goal. Thanks for the help! I'm going to try to stick to one video a week if I can.
I bought my first, a Hitachi, nibbler back in 1982, iirc. It was mains powered back then and I still have it. An excellent tool for what it does, but I found out the hard way not to sweep the little crescent bits of swarf off the bench with a bare hand, they are deadly sharp! I also found that walking over them meant that they stuck into the soles of my shoes and then got imbedded in the carpet at home, only once though. Crawling about on my knees with needle nose pliers, to unhook them from the carpet pile, before Mum found them.
Oh man, that one was a year before I was born then! I agree about the swarf from it. Gets everywhere. I have to be careful with my bench or it soon gets bedded into it. Same when I'm drilling the metal for my scoops!
