No spoilers: Basically, for every shadow, he has to beat them in that ritual to control them the way he does all the other ones we've seen. The ritual itself isn't suicide, it's a battle. It's just that Makora is so strong that summoning it to subjugate it is like suicide for the summoner.
Ah so basically like a circus trainer, he must tame the animal before he can use them on stage. But now he must open the lion cage, that is not yet trained to follow order yet, and might attack and eat the trainer? Right?
@@fajarkurniawan9434 Pretty much, his only choice was to die, or to die and take his killer with him. He just did not expect to be saved which caused that much destruction. In his mind Mahoraga just kills Haruta and disappears.
@@fajarkurniawan9434 Yeah, that's exactly what he has to do with every shikigami shadow, except the wolves of course, to be able to use them as what they are, shikigami who follow orders.
15:20 😂 It's funny you mention this because Megumi has tried to summon "Makora" so many times in S1: • He tried it in Episode 1 against Yuji • He tried it in Episode 5 against Sukuna • He maybe tried it against Todo not sure about this one (edit: yeah no he didn't try to use it against Todo, that would be overkill) • He tried it against Hanami TWICE • Lastly, he tried it against the Finger Bearer in Episode 23 Megumi was down right suicidal 😂
I don't think he would pull out Makora against Todo. Maybe pull some of the other shikigamis he hasn't subjugated yet, but killing himself over such a fight would be way over the top. There were no stakes. Anime(manga?) just made his stop-fucking-around expression too similar to his going-to-hell-taking-you-with-me face.
yea he wasnt he was y holding back and not trying to fight, so he was basically just saying he was about to fight seriously. Mahoraga would have literally killed everyone since Gojo wasn't even there at the time i belive.
Ive said it on another reaction but one of the MAPPA staff said they were glad we enjoyed this ep but it was an unfinished episode. Apparently all of what you saw was only 30% of the intended vision
Just for clarification, every Ten Shadows users starts with the two divine dogs by default. When the user feels ready they can start a subjection ritual and fight one of the other shadows by them self. Once they have defeated the shadow they can control it. So for instance the frogs we see Megumi use a lot. He had to summon and defeat the frogs and afterwards he has control of them. So every shadow we have seen Megumi use over the series, he fought 1on1 and defeated himself.
@@abilawaandamari8366 well one of the rabbits acts as the "origin" shikigami and the rest are biproduct. By looking for that one it makes it less of a hard task
So I’ve read somewhere that Haruta actually walked into a still active Domain Expansion, that’s why he got sliced. The domains effects were winding down, but Haruta caught the last bits of it when he walked into the radius.
@@bohdanpyzh2712 Pretty fitting. After escaping death so many times with a miraculous luck technique he rolls perfect snake eyes and catching a one in a million death.
Makora (Mahoraga) is the most powerful shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique, the ultimate trump card of zenin clan, throughout its entire history no user has been able to tame it, what gojo said to megumi was very important because it basically killed the copy of gojo long time ago (yes it's that strong) if sukuna was at 4 fingers in that moment even he would've been cooked
Yeah megumi said that mahoraga was probably used as a final suicide trump card to kill both the ten shadows technique user along with the user of the gojo clan
yup Mahoraga is very powerful. Because it can adapt to any phenomena. Just like Doomsday from Superman’s villains. But 15F Sukuna beats him because Sukuna’s battle IQ is very high.
although we don't know how the gojo leader from the past compares in terms of strength to satoru gojo, we should add that (I'll avoid spoilers but those who know, they know...)
A really simple breakdown of Mahoraga's ability is adaptation. Once it experiences something either enough or long enough it will no longer be affected by that thing. A good example is the underwater scene, after it had been underwater for a few moments, it developed gills. In the case of Sukuna's technique, Mahoraga was adapting to the concept of slicing in general, so both of Sukuna's types of slicing were getting less and less effective. The only way to 'kill' Mahoraga is to one-shot it before it can adapt, which is why Sukuna had to use Fuga again. Bt that point, Sukuna's domain was doing nearly no damage.
I don’t think my jaw ever left the floor this episode. This was a straight up spectacle to the highest degree. This is how you adapt and enhance the source material, one of the best episodes I’ve seen this year in both anime and live action.
No spoilers: Just to further explain Sukuna's domain and his battle with Makora. He has a default slash, Dismantle. Then Cleave which can be adjusted to cut down someone with immense cursed energy in one swoop. Makora's ability is to adapt to any and all phenomena, not just curse techniques. The entire first half of the fight Sukuna is just using Dismantle. When he opens his domain he uses dismantle and cleave since he assumes Makora has only adapted to Dismantle. On the contrary, Makora had adapted to slash techniques as a whole. So he uses his fire arrow which Sukuna knows 100% Makora hadn't adapted to it to finish the fight. That's why he was surprised when Makora was just walking through it and blocking Cleave and Dismantle. Also to clarify "Dissect", and "Fillet" are translation errors, meant to be Cleave and Dismantle. Also Malevolent Kitchen is an error too, meant to be "Malevolent Shrine".
When it’s saying Megumi has to subjugate then he basically has to force them to submit. He has to battle them basically and if he can win it’ll be under his control. 100%! Nanami gets a super cool design after this. Probably one of my favorite character designs in the show
@@veid1572Yes, in the manga it is much clearer, Mahoraga deflects Sukuna's cut and that's when he makes his wtf face because he could see his technique.
Yamata-no-Orochi is a monster from Japanese mythology it has 8 heads and can only be defeated by cutting off all its heads, which is why Sukuna compared Mahoraga to Orochi. No sé inglés así que no sé si el traductor lo tradujo bien, espero que se entienda 😅
Itadori’s breakdown kills me…screaming at himself to die. High praise to Junya Enoki-san (Itadori’s VA) for his performance 😢 And someone reminded me about his first breakdown in Season1…where he said he doesn’t want to die. 😭 the heck AND what an early upload! Putting things into easier context: 1) The Sorcerer can find others to join in the Subjugation ritual. But the ‘taming’ is voided after which. Essentially you can form a Pokémon GO party to raid the Raid Boss. However if you fight alongside teammates, even if you win; you don’t get to catch the Pokémon. Only if you solo and win the raid yourself, you are allowed to catch/tame the Prize(Mahoraga/Makora). 2) Subjugate does not mean create. Megumi was not the one who created Mahoraga/Makora. Subjugate means to tame or bring under control through conquest. That’s what Megumi was trying to say, you can summon Mahoraga/Makora endless amount of times to attempt the Subjugation Ritual. But NO ONE has ever tame Mahoraga/Makora before. Not the Former Clan Leader who used Mahoraga/Makora… definitely not Megumi. Mahoraga/Makora attacks Megumi because he is a Wild Pokémon. Megumi and the former Clan Leader both did not ‘earn the gym badges’ to control or make Mahoraga/Makora obey. So they can only summon Mahoraga/Makora as a last resort option and it will just go wild!
The only way to defeat Mahoraga is to overwhelm and wear it down with an immensely powerful technique and then bust an even more overpowered technique and catch it off guard. He truly is one of the final bosses of the story, everyone is rightfully scared of it.
the shadow name in the manga is called "MAHORAGA" but the anime used the kanji pronunciation Makora if I am not mistaken BUT most people like to call makora "mahoraga" because that is the name we are used to so yh
@@aohige bruh we are already used to MAHORAGA which sound way more better and cooler than makora also if shounen jump manga translated it as MAHORAGA then it MAHORAGA end of story
Megumi has Dogs Frogs Rabbits Bird Snake (which was killed by Sukuna in Episode 5 so it can’t be summoned anymore) And Elephant That’s currently 6, with Mahoraga being 7. Manga readers know 2 others for a total of 9 but I won’t say what they are
just fyi for those who wondering, basically summoning this shikigami is a suicide, there are two ways for mahoraga to be stopped after summoning, it's either you tame it by defeating it or everyone involved in the ritual dies, then mahoraga will disappear
We saw multiple times in S1 that Megumi was about to unleash something powerful and throw his life away. But it's so funny that when it FINALLY gets used, it's against Haruta of all people. Mahoraga. Sukuna shows up and has fun for a bit but unlike with Jogo, he realizes that having fun won't be enough for this thing. If it adapts to all of his moves, there won't be a path to victory. So he has to take it out in one blow. Then he demolishes most of the city, annihilates SO MANY PEOPLE(including Haruta who's luck had ran out) and then makes Yuji see and experience it all so he can laugh at his misery. Once again, Sukuna is not Yuji's friend. He is not on his side at all. Yuji's suffering and despair brings Sukuna entertainment. Just like how he laughed with Mahito when Junpei was killed in front of Yuji. He is diabolical. And now, Nanami is back. Nearly burnt to a crisp but still walking. Where does his path lead to, I wonder?
@Chocochoco22 People keep saying that against Todo for memes but he didn't do hand signs with Todo to prove that. I checked in anime/manga. He was mad at Todo but doesn't mean he was ready to bust that out then and there at the school.
If you're wondering, the 'Binding Pact" Sukuna sets is to remove the boundary of his domain expansion, giving everyone caught in it a "guaranteed" way to escape from his domain. With how the magic system works in this universe, with all the checks and balances, this show of "mercy" in exchange allows him to increase the radius of his domain's sure-hit effect to a maximum of 200m radius. A "Heavenly Pact" is a different but similar thing, where its something someone is born with, a binding pact with "heaven" that gives up something to get a boost in something else for that person. In the case of Toji and Maki, they loose the ability to see and harness cursed energy in exchange for unparalleled physical strength, speed, and toughness. In the case of Mechamaru, its the opposite, he gains a massive reserve of cursed energy, allowing him to become a puppetmaster, but leaves his body weak and ill. The treasures that Sukuna mentions refers to the imperial regalia of Japan, the 3 treasures still displayed today that was allegedly retrieved from the belly of the Yamato no Orochi, an 8 headed snake monster. The regalias are often said to contain magical properties, that allows them to protect the imperial family from harm. Considering that this is JJK, they most probably exist in the verse as extremely powerful cursed tools. Sukuna's referring that Makora/Mahoraga's power works similar to/due to the symbolism of these treasures.

26:29 To answer Dani question here you just need to defeat the Makora (Mahoraga) and automatically you tame it.The easiest way is to attack it with another strong attack while it try to adapt to current attack like what Sukuna did.
@@crackers5422no doubt, 10 shadows isn’t really built to dole out one huge dose of damage in a single sitting before mahoraga can adapt, even sukuna was fortunate he jabbed jogo’s ability and was able to incinerate him before it learned how to handle his domain expansion
Every reaction I've seen is surprised when the shikigami starts taking it to Sukuna even though Gojo straight up said that shikigami killed a man with the same powers he had. That summon is the very move of last resort that the show was teasing since season one. Everyone is always "what's Megumi's secret power??????" well here it is after long last. The collateral damage wouldn't normally be so horrific or else Megumi probably never use it. That shikigami is so powerful it would normally end a fight quickly and easily then just vanish. Both quick and clean. Even a cursed spirit on Jogo's or Dagon's level would probably be put down real quick. Sukuna was letting that fight go on simply to entertain himself. But this became a clash between an unstoppable force and an unmovable object and just nuked the heart of the city. All the collateral up till now is nothing by comparison.
The reason why Megumi decided to use such a suicidal move was because he was already going to die of blood loss so he decided to take that blond cockroach with him at least before dying, the funny thing is that demon dog would have been more than enough for that trash so Megumi summoning that monster is NEXT LEVEL PETTINES, like my boy i know you pissed that he got you with a sneack attack from the back but god damn.
I feel like Dani was way more like open and expressive and honestly their vibe is peak bro that full on smile when Makora first popped up? Dani the resident chaos gremlin of the group and I'm here for it
Glad you enjoyed the last episode ladies, told you it was the best one so far, but it's sad we won't be getting anymore of them because the animators are suffering under their abusing and hellish bosses in Mappa to the point they were asking for help in twitter 😅 Besides there is a translation error this episode: Sukuna's domain is "malevolent shrine" not "malevolent kitchen" 😂 Oh and I just noticed the jjk notebooks Sam told me about earlier, they look so cool.
It was said in the episode, the only way to control a shikigami is to defeat them and force them to submission (subjugate them). In order to control Makora megumi needs to defeat him, it's as simple as that.
Ok, no manga spoilers but just to clear things up. The subtitles are a bit stupid Makora = mahoraga Fillet = Cleave Dissect = dismantle Malevolent kitchen = malevolent shrine I believe they use direct translation for subtitles but that’s the actual name of the attacks
What i think is the person who possessed the six eyes and limitless technique ages ago, should have lacked reverse cursed technique which is why he lost to the makora(mahoroga).Reverse cursed technique is the key to unlock the full potential of the limitless technique (red and hollow purple) Makora can only be defeated by using an attackand burying it with another attack before it adapts ....the previous limitless user (if he didn't have reverse cursed technique) would have only blue ,making it impossible to defeat makora
well current magoraga did adapt to 4 out 5 technique of Satoru Gojo. Mahoraga was only defeated by Purple but before dying mahoraga did his work for sukuna by giving sukuna the feamework of how to make kitkat😅😂😂
Megumi said it at the beginning. To tame/subjugate a Shikigami, you have to defeat it. So what Megumi has to do to be able to control Makora is what Sukuna just did: defeat it lol. Once Megumi does that, then it will obey him like the others we've seen. The only shikigami that doesn't need to be defeated are the Demon dogs. They are the "default" Shikigami of the Ten Shadows technique and will obey you. They represent Shikigami n°1. Both count as a single Shikigami (well, the white one was destroyed in Season 1 Episode 4 and its powers went to the black one). It is the other 9 that Megumi needs to defeat to be their master. So he defeated the rabbits (count as 1), frogs (also count as 1), Nue (bird), Orochi (the giant snake destroyed by Sukuna in Season 1 Episode 5) and Max Elephant. A 7th Shikigami was revealed this episode (Makora) and the remaining three Shikigami are yet to be. We know nothing about them (in the anime) and don't know if they have been tamed or not. The Zenin ancestor who fought the Gojo ancestor to death couldn't control Makora either. Megumi said nobody ever managed to tame it. But just like Megumi, he could summon it. This also means getting attacked by it like Megumi was as an untamed Shikigami won't obey you. Makora is an intergral feature of the Ten Shadows technique (it is pretty much the final boss of the Shikigami). On another note, it is an actual deity. Makora is one of the Twelve Divine Generals in East Asian Buddhism. So that thing is literally a god.
@@Diinytro The translations to english this episode were real rough in some cases. Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine was described as Malevolent Kitchen, when it's actually supposed to be Shrine (the word translates to Shrine but also Cabinet, in terms of Kitchen Cabinet for context, so it's entirely a translation thing), Cleave and Dismantle were turned to Fillet and Dissect (again, similar words, probably translation errors), and Mahoraga was called Makora (which is the literal Japanese translation), though in Mahoraga's case, both Makora and Mahoraga refer to the same Sanskrit mythological figure, Makora is just the japanese term for them, and most translations of the manga people read went with Mahoraga as the name, even though the manga directly names them Makora and the japanese dub you hear says Makora. First errors (Sukuna's techniques) seem to be a translation error, where the latter is taken as an error but is actually accurate.
The Ritual is easy just beat the summon Normaly you going one after the other, Start with 2 dogs and with every Ritual you beat one summon and in the end you got all 10 shadows Obivisly Makora (Mahoraga) should be the last, so for megumi to Start the Ritual without all summons it is like a Suizid, but if He Trick someone in the Ritual with him He gets attackt by the summone to.
As the strongest shikigami Magoatkora fought the fraud the king of curses,he began to adapt Sukuna shrunk back in fear and then Magoatkora said: Stand proud Sukuna you were
basically think of it as hardcore pokemon where Megumi has to beat them in order to tame them. Mahoraga is the strongest summon and the most secret Zenin clan technique you literally have to beat it in a fight to tame it
Yamata no Orochi is a monster from the Japanese (Shinto) folklore, that was slayed by Susanoo (One of the 8 major gods and Amaterasu's brother). In the mythology it takes the form of a dragon/snake with 8 heads and 8 tails.
The Zenin clan leader didn’t have control of Makora in his battle with the Gojo clan leader. Zenin must have started the ritual as a last resort when fighting the Gojo clan leader. Im guessing Zenin used Makora in a way to kill the Gojo clan leader and then Zenin himself was killed by Makora or maybe they both were so badly injured that Makora killed them both. So intriguing 🧐
Nah, it probably killed the Zenin first like with Megumi, then went after the Gojo clan dude. Soon as they both got "killed," the ritual ends and they officially die.
@@MrSkinnyWhaledoesn't really matter because it still is an upbeat song, and it took away from a dramatic moment. No music at all would've been ideal.
btw the thing megumi summoned is named Mahoraga, the subtitles were off. the same thing with malevolent kitchen, it was supposed to be shrine, but they rushed some of the subtitles.
Yo just realised how bad and inaccurate the subtitles were which first spelled the shikigami mahoraga as makora and then it went and messed up sukuna’s domain which is malevolent shrine not kitchen😂
Makora is so strong its literally suicide to try to fight it head on so its not a automatic death if you do beat it. The form and way Megumi summoned him made it to where if they both were to die then it would be a automatic death for both of them. But there is a way to actually fight Makora without suicide. He is so strong you literally have to 1 shot him or you actually straight up lost.
If you played or have seen Final Fantasy X you're probably thinking of Anima when Mahoraga (Or as these translations are calling him, Makora) is being summoned. It's eerily similar and I know the animators have been inspired by many other works such as Evangelion during Mechamarus battle and plenty others I just can't think of from the top of my head. But yeah that ritual summoning was exactly like Anima coming out in Final Fantasy X.
this is NOT a spoiler. sukuna isn't really OBSESSED with megumi, per se, i mean i guess he is but that's not really the point. season 1, sukuna was impressed with megumis technique, quick thinking and fighting ability. there for, when he was like "should i kill everyone in shibuya? except for one" that was alluding to megumi, since he has "other plans" instead of forming a pact with yuji. sukuna , as we have seen, is NOT merciful, and he doesn't keep people alive for no reason. meaning, he clearly NEEDS megumi for something. he wouldn't go out of his way to protect someone just so megumi cant die for the fun of it. he needs megumi to stay alive, as megumi is probably important to whatever sukuna is doing in the future. that's all :)
Before u say Sukuna is struggling against Makora (Moharaga) u guys please read the subtitles properly , remember what gojo said in megumi's flash back while releasing makora , long time ago two clan leaders faught , one had 10 shadows ability like megumi and another had six eyes with infinite just like gojo .....as a result they both died !!!!!!!... Duhh.... so Makora (Moharaga) had already killed someone with six eyes and infinite ..... Yet Sukuna with 15 fingers managed to defeat and killed Makora.... Imagine Sakuna with all 20 fingers..
@@justinlouis1969The s7btitles were correct , in japanese it can be written as shrine or kitchen, Mahoraga is the sanscript word for Megumi,s shikigami and Ma,orah is the japanese word. These deities are based on Hindu, Buddhist and Jaiinism religions
"How do you subjugate Makora?" Well, it's actually pretty simple in theory. You just need to summon it, like Megumi did, but by yourself (so no outsiders, like Haruta or Sukuna) and kill it. The problem is: it's VERY FUCKING HARD to kill it, as you saw, lol. "So was Makora just healing itself, since it had a source of Positive Energy?" No. Cursed Spirits are made of Cursed Energy, which is negative. This means that they can heal pretty much effortlessly (Sukuna even comments on that in episode 3 or 4 of season 1, against the Finger Bearer), since they can just use regular Cursed Energy to heal. Positive Energy, though, is basically a one shot to any Cursed Spirit. Outputting Positive Energy into a Cursed Spirit is like making the matter that holds their bodies disappear. That's why Sukuna said that, if he were a Cursed Spirit, he would have died with that blow from the Sword of Extermination. So Makora has an INSANE advantage against any Cursed Spirits by default, since he can just one shot any of them. Like, if you put Mahito against Makora, Makora would only need 1 shot to kill even Mahito, and that would be it, not to mention his adaptability. So he's REALLY strong
Fun fact fuga is a curse technique that actually opens the forge of hell. So What happens when you activate malevolent shrine and fuga you get a kitchen that doesn't need a barier
Megumi summoned that specific one because since he has not tamed it yet it doesn’t consume cursed energy the way it consumes it when he summons a Shikigami that he has already tamed. Tamed Shikigami are effectively being controlled by Megumi at will, however untamed one’s can be summoned over and over and over so the technique user can keep trying to tame them. The problem with summoning Mahoraga is that he is simply too powerful and his abilities allow him to adapt too quickly which effectively makes him the strongest character in the series given he has the time to adapt to his opponent’s attacks (which is VERY quickly) the “trade off” for being able to summon an untamed Shikigami as many times as you want or need is that since it isn’t tamed the technique user has ZERO control over them. Effectively Megumi was about to die from bleeding out and being exhausted of cursed energy from using a domain expansion as well as physically exhausted from outrunning Toji. And he was pretty much saying “fuckit, I’m about to die so I’m just gonna summon this thing because it takes no energy and it will just slaughter us both” basically Megumi was being petty ASF and saying “if I’m going out, you are too”😂😭
Yo the part that hit me the hardest was Itadori calling himself a murderer, which I mean, "they" (the sorcerers, etc.) have all tempted fate by going with this plan to "get rid" of Sukuna and if it all blows up in their face and Sukuna is released, it's on them for taking that chance in the first place. I mean not fully but I get what Yuji is saying, he accepted his fate long ago and now that things have gotten this bad you start to wonder, did I fuck up and did I just seal the world's fate by eating that first finger? Crazy shitttttt!
To be fair it is possibly their only chance to permanently get rid of sukuna and sukuna only managed to take control for a short while and it took yuji being force fed 11 fingers at once. The big mistake I feel like that led to this is letting him out in a highly dangerous combat zone rather than keeping him secured and supervised. not to mention a big part is that they lost their biggest ace with Gojo being sealed, even if Sukuna got out at 20 fingers Gojo would just barely be able to deal with it. Gojo would probably die from the fight and the devastation would be overwhelming, but honestly it might just be worth it to permanently get rid of someone like sukuna especially since there's no guarantee someone as strong as Gojo would be around in the future if a time ever came where sukuna did re-emerge.
Crunchyroll mistranslated some things this episode: 1) The Shinigami that Sukuna is fighting; his name isn't Makora it's Mahoraga. 2) Sukuna's domain expansion is called "Malevolent Shrine" not "Malevolent Kitchen." 3) The attacks he uses are called "Cleave" and Dismantle", not "Fillet" and "Dissect." Regarding Mahoraga's powers, he has the ability to adapt to phenomena and cursed techniques. Each time the whell on his head turns he will further adapt to all phenomena/cursed technique. After a certain number of spins on the wheel he will be fully adapted and will be able to nullify all of the techniques you hit him with. The way around this is to hit him with a technique that he hasn't adapted to yet and has a lot of destructive power to completely destroy him like Sukuna did with his flame attack.
In most anime, when a battle this destructive takes place in a city or town, majority of the time, we might see that the civilians are evacuated, but when it’s like this, where they’re still present during it all, a single line from TMNT: Secret of the Ooze always comes to mind. Donatello says, “What about all those… people?” I’m such an adult. I actually show concern about the collateral from these fights from the property damage to the innocent civilians to the nameless fodder and even those affected by the loss. The mindset of an adult is great. Whoo. 🎉😕🎉 Nothing like when I was a kid, and I’d see entire buildings destroyed by giant monsters and the Power Rangers’ Megazord and not give it a second thought.
PSA: Just to help those uninformed about MAPPA and general anime pipeline (not super detail just a rough outline). So in terms of how anime productions work typically you want a year plus of development time for healthy production. But in reality very few production get that much time. Each production is unique, but the episodes typically need 3 - 4 months for decently scheduled episodes. But these JJK episodes are worked on for about 2 months (not including high priority episodes) before release. This episode in particular was being worked until yesterday. It was amazing but clearly unpolished and unfinished cuts and ideas all over the place. To give a better idea why this production is having so much trouble (without getting to politics of the industry). Let's give you a timeline: JJK S1 > JJK 0 > CSM S1 > JJK S2 This the preceding schedule the staff had to go through. They were SUPPOSED to have 2 years for JJK S2 but the purchasing rights of CSM changed that. They only 6 months of pre-production. That's nowhere near enough leeway. If anyone is hoping they delay or go on break. I'll remind you tha we already had their "mid season/mid production" break after EP6. So they can't just keep delaying. These studios take orders from the production committee which make deals with shareholders and investors such as distribution (Toho Production in JJK's case). The aren't just going to give them a break because the timeslots are already paid for.
If you want to know why Sukuna is so interested in Megumi then my advice would be to re watch the conversation between Jogo and Geto, before Jogo feeds Yuji the ten fingers.
I already knew this arc was going to be wild waaaayyy back when ms. narrator made her first appearance. When an anime hires a narrator, the arc is lit. See : HxH and One Piece
My thought how Gojo-clan who have Six eyes and limitless lose to Mahoraga that time: If that fight 1v1, then that guy from Gojo-clan will win it like Sukuna did in this battle. It just they both die bc not only Mahoraga who fighting Gojo-clan leader, but the user of that ten shadow who summon Mahoraga is also take a part to fight the guy leader from Gojo-clan
To control Makora the user has to defeat it just like all the other Shikigamis except the dogs that are the starters. So at some point megumi defeated Nue, Gama, the rabbits etc.
