Makro was originally a Dutch international brand of warehouse, also called cash and carry stores and began in 1968 in Amsterdam.
Makro is now owned by Tesco and there are numerous stores, up to 152, around Thailand. These stores are very easy to access and well worth visiting if you want value for your money. They have a range of international foods as well a fresh local produce.
