We always wanted to cook Mala Hot Pot, but afraid it will turn out too spicy. Till one fine day we order Mala Xiang Guo (mala pot) from Hotpot Kitchen and we fall in love instantly with this spicy pot.
We finally bought our first packet of Haidilao Mala stir fry sauce and cook by ourselves. This Haidilao mala sauce consist of 2 packets, we just use one.
For the ingredients, you can pick your own choice of meats, steamboat ingredients, seafood, and vegetables. This dish goes well with rice, or you can add in instant noodles.
Note: This recipe caters for 4-5 pax.
