Great race and great recap, Chloe! I had to go back and check my memory because it seems crazy, but 18 months ago you were happy to have gone under 1:38. Congratulations on the latest PB and on the amazing consistent progress you've made. I can't wait to see what you do this summer. And you look very sharp in the Saysky kit! They're fortunate to have you representing them.
Thank you!! Yes you're right, when you look at it this way, there's been real progress in the past 18 months. Hopefully after some months spent working on shorter distances I'll come back to half marathon training ready to attempt a sub 88 later this year!
every race you just get better and better. i cant believe you were dissapointed when you finished the race. i am glad you took time to realise that it was a great time. looking forward to you Project 88 in valencia :) keep smashing it
I know haha, looking back it's so strange that I wasn't happy with a PB lol. Good luck with your last few weeks of marathon training, I'm sure there's a PB around the corner for you!
@@ChloeHamard i think sometimes its dissapointing when you set yourself a goal but dont reach it even though its a PB. thank you i am hoping to do anything under 3:55 which is a 4 min PB
Hi!!! Despite not being a PB, congratulations!!!! I was there as well, and it was my first ever Half Marathon. I did it in 1:42:50; I wanted a sub 1h40, but I am quite happy anyway. Consuming gels is complicated, I had stomachache after the race.
@@ChloeHamard Yes, you are correct, I just heard that you were dissapointed by not getting unider 1h28, but it is true it was a PB. Congratulations once again!!!
Cracking time Chloe and excellent in terms of the rank too, congrats on all your hard work and training. You'll get that sub 88 for sure, not far off at all!
Well done and congrats on the PB. Just a suggestion: some people freeze their gels the night before so it slowly melts through the race, it works for people who wear a hydration vest but then you don t want a piece of ice in your pocket
