I did not know there were Orchestras doing Kenton arraignments of anything let alone this. I was lucky enough in my youth to have seen Kenton in person several times and I will say this performance comes close to capturing what it was like to see Kentons orchestra live in the 60s and 70s like I saw them .
Then you haven't a lot, well try my college jazz band, but seriously, look at the 1998 Madison Scouts Malaguena, it's one of the most compelling pieces I've seen in drum corps, and big band well these guys killed it, I don't know what their pedigree is, but they sound amazing, if the recording could have been a little better, love the soloists, B+ because of the recording quality, but A-A+ they sound fantastic, I wasn't familiar with these guys, Amazing guys
You should check out the rendition performed by Blast! indoor marching corp. The video quality is bad but the audio quality is pretty good: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lGkhiiM-KRg.html
The Malagina are the torments of the wounds that have continued since they occurred and will continue to resound in the world of music at the hands of flamenco players through time, and their tears will shed ceaselessly.🌍
