Thats the best malawi setup I've seen recently. Very aesthetically done

Superb set up. Very much resembles their natural habitat and that is something many in the hobby don't understand. Its what it should be. A replica of their natural environment.

What a beautifully set up aquarium! The black background and the dim lighting are giving it a very natural atmosphere. Also it's not overstocked en has a good combination of Mbuna species in it. My very BIG compliments for you! Btw, I've watched this movie for over 20 times now ;-)

Amazing looking setup, nice sized tank and a great selection of fish i am very jealous. If i could get my setups to look half as decent as this i would be a very happy person.

Thanks! I'm glad people like my tank. I use 4 JBL Solar Marin Day, T8, 30W tubes. I believe they are 15000K. I this video, probably the 2 tubes in the back, were not lit, that's why it seems darker. The background is a black sticker.

@KaozVT The rocks weight around 150 Kg. There is no support underneath sand, but I have 2 sheets of glass on the bottom, instaid o f 1.

You need to buy yourself a skimming piece for filter intake tube, man. The bacteria film on the water is unbelievably dense and thick.

WOW! This tank is amazing! It looks like the most natural tank I've ever seen! Are your fish wild caught? Because I saw some of them grazing on rocks. I wish it was possible to do something like this in a 55 gallon but 13 inches front to back really is too little.

I scout them myself, from the banks of a river in the mountains. You can't buy rocks like these in the shops.
