I flew Malaysia Airlines four times in the past week and was very impressed. I particularly like the way that the cabin crew man the aisles towards the end of the flight and bid their passengers farewell. Perhaps you could capture that next time you fly with them. The Economy class food? Up to the standard set by Qatar.

Yes Malaysia Airlines are great, I use them again in a couple weeks. The hotel airport service is just brilliant, I use Intercontinental and they really make you feel special. Went off your videos for a while but back enjoying them again. 👍🙏
You mentioned my favourite “coat hooooks” thrice in this video! Hilarious! Always loved working on the A330-300s when they were in SQ fleet. They feel so light and they land really gently. 2-4-2 in YCL also makes a lot of sense. Shang always a winner. Service always excellent. Some people might not like the old skool feel but it’s comfy and reassuring to me! Another great trip report, Jayden!

Woah. It was rough for passengers after arriving from Hong Kong. Next time avoid flying to HK and China. Quarantine is such a wasted week cant visit the place. Meals look different from before. MH services look good. The lounge seems excellent and has delicious meals with drinks. Nice hotel in KL. Soon I will fly next month to SIN from SEA.
Hong Kong is much better now that it's open. Transit is perfectly fine. Self-connect means you'll need to do a covid test though like all other arrivals which I just did several days ago.. Thanks for watching!

Hey Jayden. I saw you're finally going to do a report on Delta. I've flown on a Delta Connection Bombadier (Now Mitsubishi) CRJ-900 when I was younger. The captain was even kind enough to show me the controls and the cockpit. Great job with the video! P.S.: If you come back to the US, don't fly Spirit, Frontier, or Allegiant Air, unless it's absolutely necessary. I've heard they are one of America's worst airlines. My mom and sister got held up at Las Vegas while taking Spirit Airlines. They ended up taking Southwest to Milwaukee Airport and I was already sleeping when they got home.

Wow Hong Kong airport looking very quiet! Good to hear things have picked up since July. Love the Pier Business Class Lounge. Very classy! Very impressive face recognition technology. It recognized what seat you are in! Very clever tech Food onboard looked good. I have always had great food on Malaysia Airlines!
I wonder what would happen if two identical twin siblings are travelling together. One in Economy Class and the other in Business Class. This would confuse the heck out of the facial recognition system.

I reccomend u conduct a test every flight where u press the button that calls in a flight attendant, and time how fast they come and how great their service is
Really unfortunate that Hong Kong is still feeling the impacts of Covid so much. On the bright side the Pier Business lounge looks empty. It was packed when I went in 2018!

Cathay offers the cheapest tickets to Europe for next summer but I don’t think is worthies with this overreaction to Covid ! Better avoid Hong Kong or China if you like to have happy holidays!

Hi Jayden. That looked a good decent meal on the flight. A bit of fresh , soft butter would have topped off that banana bread nicely, I reckon. But it sure makes a change for a dessert option. The hotel room looked comfy too.
Soft butter and tea or milk would've gone so well with the banana bread!! Used to do that in boarding house haha, they always got us banana breads for afternoon tea (the meal right after school) Thanks Heather :))
Chicken rice or chicken noodles- wow, another round of cost cutting with no other meat and/or vegan options? Reminds me of one review of SQ365 (FCO-SIN on a B777-200ER) I came across many years back, both the breakfast mains were braised.
Just did a couple of flights on those MH A330's, in the front economy 'extra legroom' cabin! The interiors are certainly dated, especially compared to the JAL 787's I flew on the same trip, and the safety videos cringeworthy, but really which airline doesn't do cringeworthy safety vids these days! However the MH inflight service was top-notch. The MH lounge in KL was also a nice place to chill out with some drinks for a couple of hours, even with the restricted food service.
they will, they're expecting a profit this year despite all the restrictions. I've been on a few flights to/from HK this month and most were full. Can't imagine when Hk reopens completely without restrictions.
Aaa can't wait to fly MH very very soon! Seems like they have gradually improved after their slump. I can relate when you ended up ordering in Mandarin but thanked in Cantonese lol. Nevertheless I think that crew...understood you. Seriously, I've been onboard several Indonesian airlines, ordered in Indonesia, and replied in English/Japanese/German instead lol. Nice video!
The new flight safety video is a bit dramatic - you didn't comment on this Jayden - suggest you integrate this into your review sometimes soon. Perhaps it was implemented after your flights.
I flew them multiple times after it was introduced. On some flights they were still playing the old one. They probably had to update the video/IFE system aircraft by aircraft

A bit concerned (disturbed) by the cabin crew who asked you about your meal choice in Mandarin. She's making a lot of silly assumptions. Shouldn't she ask you in either English or Cantonese? The meal looked miserable actually for a 3h 40m flight. In my opinion, MH = Mediocre Hospitality. 😖 Btw, Shangri-La rocks! It never fails to impress! 😃👍
True, imagine speaking Cantonese to pax on a Shanghai to KL flight… I can’t believe they’ve reduced the food portions for HKG flights to ‘light meals’. SQ has gone further to give out only a tiny box but their HKG flights remain a full meal service
