My family and I took the same flight from Narita on 9th May , it was delayed due to bad weather. The situation was professionally handled . We were given consistent update apart from meal vouchers. Once restored on board service was excellent. That’s the difference between premium airline and budget airlines.
that's right. Flag carriers are reliable when trouble strikes. Airlines put safety first. A good airline will make a difference in care for passengers after that.
I think NRT is one of the premium destinations for MH. I remember flying with them KUL-NRT-LAX on 777 when we were served steak in economy! It's still the best inflight meal I've ever had. An Australian guy sitting next to me licked his dish and asked for more! lol
Damn , the meal is absolutely better than most 5-star airlines in nowadays!😂 I flew with this airline to incheon Seoul in December 2019, that was a nice experience, better than Korean airlines previously I flew.
Exceeding this airline's food is no easy feat. It is very difficult to balance efficiency and service. I think the service of Malaysia Airlines is excellent.
I've very recently flown on 'Malaysia Airlines' for the very first time from 'Singapore' to 'Kuala Lumpur' and from what I've witnessed it really is a very clean airline and the service on-board is exceptionally great .
Malaysia Airlines Business Class n First Class in the 1980's n 1990's were just unbeatable... Only Singapore Airlines occasionally had more votes to be named the best for those classes in offflight (priority boarding, disembarking, Golden Club Lounge) n inflight services... Back then, on flights above 6 hrs, Malaysia Airlines served half an Australian crayfish, which was bigger than a big whole lobster as the main course, with the other 2 options being chicken n lamb... The mysterious disappearance of MH370 n the MH17 tragedy had really tarnished MAS reputation as one of the safest airlines in the world...
That's a great meal. If you think so, I feel that now it has changed to a meal that prioritizes operational efficiency. Of course, the safety standards have changed since then, so I can't say that it's a bad thing. It's true that I feel a little lonely.
Agreed... Most new travellers, esp the younger ones, only know Emirates, Qatar n Etihad... They had no idea those airlines r rather new n employ mostly foreigners in contrast to MAS which employ 100% local crew members...
@@ijoeys Certainly Middle Eastern airline crews are clearly not locals. Of course, being international is a good thing. However, in terms of the characteristics of the country, Malaysia Airlines clearly shows the goodness of the original Malay service.
It makes me very happy. When you actually visit the site, you can feel the kindness of the people there. Especially in Malaysia and Thailand, I feel it.
