What people fail to realize is that, there are atrocities everywhere in this world. Not just Malaysia. You can't pinpoint one is better than the other because matter of fact no one or no country is better than the other. There are always two sides to everything. And if any of you are educated, then you will realize that. Where there is good, there will always be bad. So much hatred in this world, makes me embarrassed being a human being.
@somuchsolittleful its true that civilised nations doesnt write down "jungle law" in their law jurisdiction but neither do malaysia. i agree that raw violence should not be use againts criminals who already in custody and are not a threat to anyone safety. but things like this still happen everywhere in the world even in a civilised nation. malaysian government never give permission for such an act in their law. most government official caught doing such an act will be punish according the law.
Why do Malaysia and Singapore still have Tamil and Mandarin as official languages ? They have been there for 3 generations since independence so surely they should have become homogeneous and have Malay (Malaysia) or English (Singapore) as the only language?
@somuchsolittleful please post the link right here for the international documented violence from malaysia so i can comment on it. i cant comment much becuz i never experienced any type of violence from any law enforcement in malaysia.

Ngak aneh cok, mereka itu 1 Malaysia.. Cina sama india diberi hak juga di tanah Malaysia, mereka juga ada sekolah cina dan india dn bisa berbahasa mereka disekolah itu... Itu membawa erti orang Malay di Malaysia ngak racist.. Mereka bisa membagi kepada cina dn india juga. Kalau di Indonesia, orang cina nya itu perlu nama dalam bahasa indonesia, mereka ngak bisa guna nama cina

@mazeeism Again, do not lecture me regarding "proper english" when you cannot properly spell (typo LOL) yourself. International human rights groups including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and more importantly the United Nations have called out this country specifically and repeatedly for torturing human beings--still international norms are ignored. In 2007 even the majority of Malaysian lawyers voted and called on the criminals in power to stop this madness.
Looks good on video, but ugly in reality, so in what way its diverse? didnt this country only belong to malay ethnic? while chinese and indian are always segregated in all aspects of their life? and MOST of tourist arrival in malaysia are singapore who commute EVERY DAY from singapore to malaysia, and you count them as TOURISTS ROTFL.....
@mazeeism Continue to use third world terminology but 90% of the civilized world knows Malaysia's barbarity for exactly what it is -TORTURE. It is quite curious why sadists are so afraid to use the word. You may point out US of A war crimes or atrocities anywhere, or the legalized violence in Singapore for that matter,but you cannot ever defend nor is there any justification for the Malaysian governments sick acts of cruelty. Learn how to spell (owrld) before you lecture anyone.
