@@voyagesdiary yes, the central operator will take your basic data first and then they will direct your report to the relevant agency. The agency may call you back after that if necessary

Don't worry,.you are in right country which is they save your life first and money comes later..dont worry medical teams are very professional and efficient..what you should do is stay calm and put your trust on medical teams..they are qualified teams to manage any emergency cases regarding health issues..
Do not worry, you went to the right place, the doctor & nurses will take good care of you. I spent 6 months in this hospital last year, they’re all angels who will take good care of you
May both of you & your husband recover as soon as possible from whatever ails you both & enjoy your stay in Malaysia.Stay strong & believe in the power of prayers.God bless all of your family.
Speedy recovery. Wishing you well. You will need to be more careful with your diet and eating habits. Well done to Mummy for staying calm and getting the help he needs. Stay happy and healthy always to you and your family ❤
The paramedics on the phone are good - some may have halting English but communicate well. Emergency is super . The public hospitals are very good , the doctors are on the ball and you will get specialist attention pronto. The wards dont look great but clean and hygienic . The nurses are a blessing and treat you like a parent. The public hospitals are not mercenary and treat locals and foreigners alike
Glad to see he is doing well and appearing cheerful after the medical treatment. Wishing him a speedy full recovery and continue your enjoyable stay in this country. Take care!
@@voyagesdiary Best to recover fully before stepping out, especially with the sweltering weather. Fun and enjoyable days await the family. Best wishes, again.
Hi. sorry to hear what happened to your husband.. Luckily or should i say blessing in disguise the ulcer was detected early and promptly treated. It could gets worse undetected and bleeding silently until it's too late. May God bless ur family. 💙
Glad to hear Dad's doing well after the serious encounter. Thank God he's OK. Did the Doctors explain what could be the cause of injury? This reminds me of when i spit out a decent chunk of Steel-Wool while consuming some takeaway Curry Chicken just recently. It's the abrasive blob of springy thing they use to brush & clean the Pots & Pans. Fortunately, i always chew my food thoroughly before swallowing. I'd imagine most people would've just ingested the whole thing unknowingly. If that's the case, it should show up in an X-ray if still in the system.
Doctor said it was possible from a mix of highly acidity foods. Lots of espresso (3-4 a day), spicy foods, too much orange juice, chocolates and other food combinations that created the hole
Reflux esophagitis is a disease where the junction between your esohagus and stomach (which is supposed to be tightly closed) become lax, causing the highly acidic gastric content to 'spill' into the esophagus.. it's a chronic condition.. not due to acute injury from ingestion of stuff..
Oh dear, my condolences. Wishing your husband a speedy recovery. 😮 Edit: Yea, I've got a friend from the U.S do the same thing too - when she had fevers she'd rather sleep them off and wait for them to pass instead of seeking medical attention. But you're in Malaysia now. It's okay. Don't sleep an illness off. In Malaysia here, medical services aren't as pricey as in the United States; so, it is okay to seek medical help. We locals go to the doctors even when we catch the tiniest cold.
i am NOT a medical expert, but a GERD reflux partially means, he might still get acid flashing up his esophagus , some light chest discomfort .....just my non-medical advice. a) sleep with higher tiled pillows, don't let the stomach acid roll back up the ulcer area and bleed again b) eat small portions, and do not consume BIG meals... c) probably asked to chew some PPIs (which are pills to suppress the acid), that would cause indigestion for some, due to less acid to digest your food, and some antibiotics maybe for fear of infection. d) reach out to your home doctor from your country, for more medical advice/diet chew you food smaller chunks, for easier digestion....stop eating those fried, heavy solid meals for the meantime....Don't lay flat on the ground, elevate his head ....you don't want the acid refluxing back to the throat and damaging the healing ulcer again. Good luck, and stay healthy.
I guess that is what happens when you come from a country where people are afraid to go to the hospital because of the costs. If I or someone else vomitted black, there is no doubt I would call an ambulance or go to the ER immediately. I hope your husband gets well soon.
You really really scare me, internal bleeding is very dangerous. We don’t want to see any tourists got problem in our country. Life is money can’t buy, lucky our Malaysian doctor capable to save your husband life, If not, they need to transfer your husband to Singapore or even Australia for further treatment.
@@voyagesdiary Same goes with other ailments too. And as long as you're in Malaysia, don't worry about the cost, it'll be soooooo affordable and the service is still world class, most likely even better than in America
Thank God.. Things didn't get any worse.. My advise, maybe U guys should go a bit slow with our food.. We know it's definitely good but as the saying goes too much of a good thing is......
Apart from Doctors care, you may learn to massage the area right aside the back spine - both left side and right side. From there you are able to detect the pain points/pain areas. Massage that area to enable the blood circulation on that areas flowing smooth without blockage. Best Wishes to Your Family.
Hi, just Wanna know, how much is the bill ? Any estimated? Are insurance is cover for traveller ? Any suggestions for insurance package ? I m gona heading to kuala lumpur end sept . I m coming frm dxb . Might be staying for max 3 month . This gonna be my priority list to do bfore traveling
Everything was covered by the insurance every single penny. This is who we use. bit.ly/3Tgwrf6 We also used them for our son in Jakarta and everything was covered there. In that case they reimbursed us as he didn't have to be admitted
😅 the doctor is quite funny. I had a doctor treating my esophagus before but he never told me that it needed some "attention" from me. He could at least sing me, "Don't cry out loud". Good to hear your hubby is up and well. Praise God and his servant Doctor.❤
@@voyagesdiary my Doctor was also good, but he was serious when he described what my esophagus was doing to me for the entire stay in the hospital...never cracked a joke.
Just becareful in the future never Mixed alcohol drink n eat durian can cause life Infact out food combination is very important .. Malaysians cook a lot of fried stuffs n some ppl body cannot take it bcos of the inmune system weak hence can cause ulcer drink more fluid orange juice or watermelon juice as our climate is so dry n hot the air we breathe is also important
looking at his body shape, i'd say kindly that he needs to loose excess weight and hit the gym. and cut down carb intake and spicy food. glad he's recovering. all the best.
