I remember this episode. It included a very funny parody of John and Yoko, and McDowell played John to perfection. Of course this was before John was murdered, which happened months later. The following summer when the episode was re-run, the John and Yoko sketch was deleted.

I noticed that Malcom now looks unrecognizable than he did in A Clockwork Orange this id like in between where hes looking older but still looks young

in every example ive ever come across of mcdowell speaking as himself he comes across as a highly intelligent bloody great bloke damn fine chap, and hes a truly great actor with an awesome speaking voice and special charisma, just like michael caine- simply impossible not to like.

McDowell was a good host--it's just that he was saddled with a literal shit show here (3 of the skits--the Leather Weather Report, Commie Hunting Season, AND Jack the Stripper--are thought to be among the worst of season 6, of not THE worst). Can you blame him for NOT hosting again?

I like Malcolm Mcdowell, I've started to like him and I've now watched two of his films "A Clockwork Orange" and "Caligula"

Two months before this broadcast, he had divorced his first wife and married his second wife in the same month. Two months after this broadcast, his first child was born. They had a second child two years later and then got divorced 8 years later, 12 years after they had met. He got married right away, the year after his second divorce to a 24 year old when he was 48, and his kids were only 9 and 11. After another 10 years went by, he had three more children with his third wife, now in her 30s while he was nearly 60. Now he's 80 with teenagers born in the 2000s. A real piece of work, that's the track record of a narcissist and womanizer.

Too attractive for his own good

His voice sounded so different back then, compared to his voice acting in his older days, i didnt recognize his voice at all in Fallout 3.
