It seems Male has done a U-turn on its anti-India rhetoric which dominated the election. The Maldivian foreign minister was in India- making all the right noises. New Delhi on the other hand has been steadfast in its support to Male, giving out developmental aid. Why are there mixed signals from Muizzu?

Looks like India hasnt learned its lessons from the past. Better focus on Morderinising indian islands to make it more appealling & budget friendly with international standards therby improving our econmy instead of wasting money like a super power showoff.

As someone who has visited both India and the Maldives, I'd like to clear up some misconceptions. Indian media often portrays the Maldives as begging India during disputes, which is misleading. Maldivians haven't banned India; they're concerned about Indian military presence. Labeling the Maldives as radical due to this is inaccurate. Maldivians seem content, and there's no negativity towards India in their media. Indian media portrays dominance in the Indian Ocean, but the Maldives' boycott didn't harm them; it bankrupted Indian travel companies like EasyTrip. Indian people should be aware of these consequences and question media narratives. Maldivians are strategic and clear about their goals."

Who eventually helped india to pass the Covid? Recall it ran out of oxygen and patients stole from each other, a few countries only provided a few tanks of oxygen? It was china, with tens of thousands of normally priced oxygen compressors. I would suggest china wait and observe.
