I am an Indian and I get amazed by so many pearls of nature which India has. I have been to Maldives, Emirati desert, Swiss alps, highlands in Malaysia and likewise to many places but it’s amazing india has almost all such places and conserves it’s natural beauty and culture! Only if we had progressive government like what Singapore has, India would have been top already!

We will have 2 from taj by 2026 but need to see if we can get the scale though. We only have 100 water villas (Not including the another 100 beach villas) compared to around 3000 in Maldives. We may need 900 more by 2030 or 2035 to atleast divert the 2 lakh indian maldives tourists each year.

In next 4-5 years you will se all the facilities in lakshadweep. Tata (Taj Hotel) announced they will build 2 hotels in lakshadweep. Also government planning to build new airports in lakshadweep very soon.

Awesome Comparison. I just had my Maldives trip finished and completely agree with you on the points you had chosen to compare. Maldives is standing out because of its exotic accommodation and wide spectrum of food which adds to the cost significantly .. Otherwise, sandbars, beaches, white sand, turquoise green clear waters are all same .. I should had seen this vblog earlier while I was planning for Maldives ..

Lakshadweep doesn't have restrictions on what you wear and where u wear. Maldives has that barrier. public places and beaches dont allow bikini's. Lakshadweep is going to be Maldives but with a goa like feeling.
