MrKesavaraj Just nice to know you are Sri Lankan. I lived there for 5 years straight. I went there for studies and fun. Nuwara eliya was the best experience. I say Sri Lanka is my Favourite southern island :D
I noticed there are more direct flights from various countries.. nice to see maldives doing very well on tourism.. especially with many direct flights from potential huge tourist base like china..
Touring Investor British Airways fly direct here too - there's a video I posted of BA landing at Maldives a year ago. Asia needs budget carriers to take off like Europe - to go from Seychelles to Maldives I had to route thru Dubai - 10 hrs travelling which direct is about 4 hours...
+MrKesavaraj Hello, Did you see SIA flies direct to Male too? It would be easier for me to fly Jakarta ¬ Singapore then direct to Male.. I have a wild idea of having to cruise all the way from Singapore cruise centre to Male in Maldives, haha I dont know how long the journey would take, and if there is ever a cruise from SG to Maldives
Night Prayer SIA expensive here... but flight times convenient. I flew back with SIA. Tiger Airways fly here too, and Malaysian Airlines too. Or Sri Lankan Airlines route thru Colombo. Jakarta to here SIA best. Cruise - would take like 4 days. Better to fly here, and cruise here...
MrKesavaraj yes I suppose SIA is indeed exp, compared to Tiger/MAS/Srilankan oh so you flew in with MAS and back with SIA? so there are cruises within ALL of those Maldivian Atolls? I thought flying is the only way to reach from one Atoll to the next.. thats nice Cool.. would love to cruise than flying.. Hope to visit maldives soon.. your videos inspired me v much
+Night Prayer This time flew in Emirates and out SIA... The resorts near Male have boat transfer. Otherwise flight transfer to resorts from Male. The resorts don't generally have inter-resort transfer - have to route thru Male. Four Seasons have their own boat - but thats also only between their two resorts. Maybe private operators have cruises in Maldives... Yah, Maldives a lovely place to visit...
