Maldivian style chicken curry
Hanaakuri havaadhu(toasted curry paste)
Its made using most spices found in Maldives cuisine plus coconut. Mainly made by mixing all the ingredients and toasted on low to medium heat, usually on a wok.
Then grinded until it becomes almost like a paste texture. This paste is blended whenever you want to cook using it. For this curry you’ll need:
1/2 cup hanaakuri hunihavaadhu
1 cup water
1 large onion
2 sprig curry leaves
3 pandan leaf pcs
4 garlic cloves
1200g chicken
Eggs (optional)
1/2 cup coconut milk
