I’m from Indonesia. One day I went Japan, and I transit at Malaysia Airport. I ate chicken curry with nasi lemak. Taste so amazing, thanks for your recipe I’ll try it.

Hello. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I made it today. I did not have Malaysian curry powder, so I substituted it with chicken stew curry powder. The dish was heavenly but it was really too spicy for me. I will definitely make it again but next time, I will perhaps use only half tbsp of red chilli powder. I suppose the red chilli powder is not the same everywhere, and maybe mine was much hotter. Thank you again. Definitely recommend this recipe 10/10

Love that this recipe does not try to simplify too much or skip steps, ie the use of "red" and "white paste" or tamarind. Nice !

I'm from Sri Lanka and I don't think there is Malaysian curry powder here. Is there a substitute I can use?

We add coconut milk at the end because we dont boil the coconut milk ,no tamarind or sugar .

We don't add tamarind juice or sugar to chicken curry. Might be a variation
