@@drunkenhobo8020 eh, took me about 2 years. It's probably closer to 3 feet as well. Also, no trim, cut, layers, nothing in that 2 years or so, well, until I got 8 inches cut off, laayered and undercut it to try it out a week ago. It shouldn't be anywhere near that length though, because the human average is supposed to be 1/2" a month. Guess I'm an extreme out lier... It would just be nice if it was facial hair instead lol

As a dude who doesn't do this, I've seen so many more women change their personality and look based on a trend. Strange to assume because your bf does something, all men do.
Real talk though I'd say its their facial hair. They either stop shaving completely and grow it out or shave it off after having it for years during a breakdown. New hair style too or the classic buzz cut is a good sign they needed a change.

The facial hair IS SO TRUE and often SO BAD!!! meaning they do a style of it that is completely wrong for their face lmao!!! or it’s fine but they do it too short or leave it too scraggly or whatever thinking its diff enough from their usual look HA

When personal crap hit the fan I lost basically everything and thought about joining the merchant marines, who I guess were disbanded not long after so I was fortunate to not actually uproot what life I had left and do that.

Depends on the color they are dying.. if just dying to maintain original color due to greying then it's just a self image thing and the fear of being judged 'old' by others. If they are dying it blue or whatever unnatural shade it is either to gain attention (Hey look at me!) or they are emulating someone they admire.. real or imagined.. who also has weird hair colors. (Anime or celebrity of some kind usually) Mainly though.. those weird unnatural colors are a red flag that basically says "Stay at least 5 feet from the cage and do not feed the animals here"

Anytime I play a lore heavy game for the first time or revisit one I haven't played in years that tends to cause a personality change I also accidentally started using common British phrases after binge watching all of the UK version of kitchen nightmares while gaming, at this point things like "what are you on about?"
