I have a female MC and this is all accurate, except the price - expect to pay around $2000 or more for a MC kitten these days.

November 8th 2022 I adopted a male Maine coon and yes he is dog like hes very intelligent I've own cats for a long time never have a main coon but I can see the difference my Teddy bear knows a lot and is super intelligent he acts like a little two-year-old boy or a dog lol

I have a cat that looks exactly like a maine coon... but she is a normal sized cat. I wonder if she is a mix of maine coon because she has all the traits. 😊

So do I. She may be an American Maine Coon vs. European. They do differ in size a bit, with the American breed being more like domestic cat size

@@boredscientist5756 A TICA or CFA registered MC runs 3-4k here in the States. I did four months of research before I purchased from a certified cattery responsibly breeding only registered and DNA-tested kings and queens, and I didn't see any well-bred cats under 3k.

Good video and definitely matched the temperament of our female MC. She was lovely but liked to spend a lot of time on top of the kitchen cupboards just observing us!
