The world is STARVING for high-quality, informative, fact driven and, quite frankly, entertaining content like this. Its is such a relief to hear two experts such as yourselves illuminate the topic. THANK YOU!! (I'll be copying and pasting this comment onto all the videos I watch of yours because it's nothing short of the truth)
Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard about - Lammywalness Hi Hair Guide (probably on Google)? It is a good exclusive guide for learning how to reverse hair loss without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical success with it.
The Hair Loss Show could you make a video on alopecia areta and how to treat it ? I have a small spot of hair loss in the back of my head where hair won’t grow back .
here's a few ideas for ways to treat hair loss Ensure you get sufficient vitamins (A,B6,B12,C, folic acid and biotin all help your hair) Apply rosemary essential oil and jojoba oil Don't brush your hair too much Do Not wear tight hats or caps (I read these and the reasons they work on Fearons Loss Fixer website )
interesting points ,if anyone else trying to find out baldness cures try Nevolly Hair Loss Nerd (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my buddy got cool results with it.
Been on finasteride for 20 months now and it completely stopped any further loss! It didn't seem to regrow any but that's a win. I am 28 now and planning on going in for a transplant this Fall. I've had no side effects of the drug and take 1mg a day.
Some take a blood test to see what they are deficient in. For example, some people are anaemic and deficient in vitamin D. I took vitamin D and it helped slightly within 3 months.
If a man is 30 without any noticeable hair loss and about to begin TRT at 200mg per week, is it sensible to take Finasteride as a preventative hair loss measure?
Whats the effect of stress on DHT or Cortisol or papillae in regards to hair loss? Will stress increase the rate of hair loss or thinning? It seems to correlate...
It’s so sad how much hair loss has affected my life the last 12-15 months. My hair has been falling out in clumps and I’ve checked my blood work for abnormalities. Vitamin D3 was low which I started treating 3 months ago - recently retested as normal. Other than that it won’t stop falling and I have no signs of regrowth. I couldn’t imagine it affecting my day-to-day life the way it has. I can’t seem to find an answer or successful treatment method. I don’t know if anyone else feels this when experiencing hair loss, but the number one thing I’ve felt is embarrassment.
My dads father was bald, my dad has a thick head of hair at 51 and no signs of balding.... yet here I am with a receded left temple and my crown hair is thinning.... two half brothers on my mother’s side are aggressively balding and they are both in their 40’s and my grandma told me that my moms dad was bald by the time he was in his 30’s.... so I don’t know who to blame .... I went to the doctor and he said I wasn’t balding, then I tried the keeps doctor and he said I was balding and they prescribed me finasteride and minoxidil.... but I have not started talking it , a bit scared off the side effects..... I want a second opinion in person with an actual dermatologist.... only thing is Covid 19 has me scared to even seek a second in person opinion....
No one in my close and far family is bald, i am loosing to much hair for last 2 months is it possible i can go completely bald over period of time? Please reply it will help my mental situation
@Michael okay so I’ve actually been using simfort carbonic shampoo for awhile and in the past few days I see tons of new hairs forming. I’d actually totally recommend it as I think it will eventually completely bring my hair back
Im 25 and i am experiencing hair loss, i hate myself everyday and its effect on my self esteem has been so high. I dont want to go out anymore because of it. Why do i have to suffer
@@tehuti7225 yeah bro, ive heard friends make fun of me, i mean i laugh about it with them but deep inside its like torture, i feel like shit most of the time
@@jjcrpytaps5271that's terrible sorry to hear that. I suggest you change your friend circle as people should support you and not put you down. I can recommend two natural things for you. 1. Topical minoxidil 2. Rosemary oil
I know a lot of bodybuilders who actually consume crazy amout of anabolic steroids wich some of it are pure dht derivative so they have very high dht but they still have perfect hair line even after a long run..so i believe it's all about the numbers and how sensitive the 5 alfa reductase enzymes are!
Some guys have hair folicles of steel and can take winstrol no problem. Others lose hair even on finasteride just from plain test. Complete roll of the genetic dice...
At age 28 I needed 800 grafts at 34 now I needed 1,300 grafts.....fut seems better but not my style of hair on the sides....I keep it short ...an fue has no bIg scar,...I want to keep the donor hair that's going on my scalp and crown...on a diagram picture of balding I was at stage 5-6
@@Rkfinance8450 Probably a vitamin deficiency if you ask me. MPB happens in a PATTERN, hence the name. Temples both at once, etc. If you losing patches of hair or randomly all over the head it's likely a medical concern. Go to a dermatologist and get checked.
I've been taking finasteride for 5 months and lately I'm starting to notice that my hair is falling out a lot !!! Is it because of the shedding? How long does it last? I'm desperate!!
Note: if u have male pattern baldness then there is nothing u can do about it. Just live with it. Hair is not important at all but the thing that lies just beneath it is extremely important. Your brain 🧠 is extremely important
Yes. Using finasteride doesn't guarantee stopping hair loss. In fact, we know that at 1 yr 86% are stable. At 2 years this drops to 82%. At 5 years this figure drops to 64%. It is a sign that hair loss is continuous and that to date we cannot 'cure' hair loss.
@@TheHairLossShow thats because as we age hairs become more sensitive to androgens including testosterone. Hence the term androgenetic alopecia. Thats why topical anti androgens like cb0301 will be more effective once released.
To be able to understand what I'm going through with my receding hairline as I age helps me manage and address my issues. Also the expectation of what might happen also helps. Thank you
Grandfathers: thick heads of hair. Both parents: thick heads of hair. All of my siblings, except for my younger brother and I: thick heads of hair. My younger brother and I (separated by 6 years) suddenly started losing our hair at the same time, working at the same job. He quit about a year after it started, and it SEEMS that his hair has thickened back up *almost* back to normal. I still work there, and my shedding has never stopped. My hairs that I shed aren't any thinner than they always have been. They are all still thick. It seems like my hair is falling out and NOTHING is growing back. It is mainly on my crown, but it is 100% happening over my entire head. The only place it appears to be patterned at all is on the back. The thinning area seems to go about 3/4th of the way down to my hairline on my neck. WAY down. My frontal hairline hasn't moved a single little bit. Absolutely nothing. My entire head seems to be about 50% thinner all over. It is absolutely maddening, and I was almost certain it would go back to the way it was... but it never has. Going on 3 years now, and it is just getting worse. But again, my hairline has not moved. And no, I'm not in denial about it. It seriously hasn't moved. It has looked the same since I was a kid.
Seriously you should look on many other factors - 1. Genetics of mother side also ( your mother 's father ) along with your father. 2. Your lifestyle. 3.you said you moved to New place then what about the water quality, is your shower water is soft ( without calcium and magnesium)
@@xaelave5780 There is virtually no thin hair in my entire family, going back to both grandfathers, and all throughout my cousins, uncles, brothers, etc... just between my brother and I. But like I said, we are 6 years apart in age, and it started happening to us at the same time, working at the same place. I was shocked by how many hairs were on my hands when I would shampoo my hair. Hundreds of them all at once. It went from extremely thick, to a highly visible crown within a matter of a month or 2. It eventually slowed down, but it never really stopped. Sometimes it seems to happen faster, and then slow back down. But as I said, it seems like my hair is shedding, and I am literally not growing anything back where hairs fall out from. My entire head feels very thin. I conservatively estimate at least 50% of the volume of hair is gone, with the concentration being on the crown, down the back somewhat, down the sides, and all the way to just before my hairline in front. It makes no sense at all. I went to a dermatologist a year and a half ago and he must've spent 20 seconds sort of looking at my hair, barely touching it or anything, and said "yeah androgenetic alopecia", and didn't bother running any kind of tests or really examining me at all. It was absolutely heartbreaking. I would give every material possession I own, my job, my money, everything to have my hair back to normal. I am an already EXTREMELY self-conscious person to the point of literally being diagnosed with OCD, anxiety, and panic disorder because of it. This is the last thing I needed, and it's just my luck that my story is nothing.... NOTHING like anyone else's that I have been able to read about online. I've basically given up.
@@danielmoreira1965 Well, it used to be building pallets when I first started. It was very physically intense, especially after my previous line of work, which was almost sedentary by comparison. I lost about 40 pounds in 10 weeks doing it. I figured that was it and everything would balance back out and my hair would return to normal eventually. I stopped that work 2 years ago and now work in the same place, but in inventory control. Physically not hard at all, not even a little. But my hair is now just slowly getting worse. It's like telogen effluvium triggered male-pattern baldness, if that is even possible.
Sir I have been of finasteride of 4 years and my hair are not falling but i have thinning in Uppar scalp Finasteride is working for me as from age 20 i had fine hair but at 21 i lost 30% of my hair then i started Finasteride and my hair are as same as it was 4 year ago Can I still go bald ? If Finasteride is working for me as you told genes is also a factor ?
Gentlemen, transgender MtoF people also are very concerned about their Male Pattern Balding and are desperate about doing something about it. Thanks, for your informative videos.
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen. cda
