I made a 2nd and 3nd version with all different clips and new singers Part 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-inKUAzTXAYg.html Part 3: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-63ny4RYGIZc.html Also 0:42 had to be muted because of copyright
17:36 I used to think these were inhaled too. But listening to the vowel sounds and the beginnings of words such as ‘shining’, I don’t think it can be inhale. ‘Shh’ is impossible to say properly on a ingressive airflow so I’m fairly certain is exhaled 20:19 is a B0 I’m pretty sure
DUDE!!! You can have your fancy cars, mansions, private jets, all that. Nothing makes me more envious than an epic deep voice. Tim Foust is definitely one of my favorites in terms of the timbre of his voice (when he's not showing off that is, lol). Incredible!! JD Sumner was definitely one of the greats too.
10:24 😂😂💯 20:18 This is a B0 Bro, this has so much variation of singers, & it’s so long. You really did a lot for this & that is to be respected. ✊🏻 Amazing work. I also thank you for including me, it’s always exciting to see ones self in these videos lol. 🙌🏻💯
@@_not_much_1180 just because G0 is your lowest chest note that doesnt mean you can add subharmonic to that it works only for your deepest comfortable note
Tuukka is an actual Basso Profondo and sings as an Oktavist, he doesn't do Ingressive Phonation, it was Chest-Fry but he can go pretty low and still have resonance and perfect projection. I think i've heard him go as low as E1 in chest nice and loud.
Lowest I’ve seen him go live was a D1. I’m planning on making a video on him at some point soon and I’ve found a couple vids of him dipping into the 0 octave. He’s probably the best acapella Bass out there at the moment imo, though I believe his lowest full chest note is G1. Anything below is mixed or fry
im trying to get to the 1st octave in chest voice and actually properly sing it but either my phone wont pick it up properly or i cant do it. i can hit 30 hz (b0, ive done it a few times). the problems holding it but i did 47 hz (g1/gb1) for a few secs earlier and i think i could drop lower. either way i normally talk in abt c2 to a/b2
That’s the plan! And do you mean B1? Well I wanted to use a lesser used (equally as good) clip. One of the things I try to do in my videos is use clips that people normally don’t do that’s why
i think u shouldve included jonathan youngs B1 from his under the sea cover, as the older one had a chest-fry mixed B1 that was really balanced and in the new one its full chest and still sounds pretty good hes kind of overlooked when it comes to low singing even though i think his low register is actually rly good down to like a C#2
suggestions for the future since I see you didnt find a lot of 0th octave notes B0-mikhail zlatopolsky Bb0-Alecia B carter (yes a woman sings this low) A0-Tim Foust F0-David Larsson E0-thebassmanadam D0-Paul Kennamer C0-Paul kennamer
I think Ken Turner uses subharmonics as opposed to inhalation. When you hear him sing live more recently you can really hear it. He's the first bass singer I know to have brought it to the game
It's definitely inhale, I have a short on my channel using this technique and it sounds similar. Also, you can see him breathing out after that long note.
@@Marcell0Bass If I tell you that I can chest the same range and provide you with a clip that is clearly fry would you say it's chest? Also, Richard Sterban's Eb1 = M0 (IMO)
@@Marcell0Bass Ok just a another heads up but: In addition to Elliott Robison, these are people who you claim are using their chest notes but are more than clearly using fry: Zakkary Suddath Aluisio Junior Nic Val Roger Menees IMO Do you know who Zakkary is? He was banned from Bass Singing Nation discord for claiming he can chest super low notes.
JerryBoy: Dang was he actually. I don’t mean to bother you but could you tell the story, of like what happend and was he actually using fry. I like to know the story behind things:)
Honestly, as polite and respectful as I want to be, I am skeptical of all those "chest" notes below G0. I think JD Sumner's G0 was the lowest chest note of all time, even though at first I was hesitated to accept it. Though I might be wrong, I highly doubt that it's physically possible for anyone to hit a C0 with chest voice.
@Terracota Says Oh!
I am liking how I'm already over half way through this, and I have not seen JD Sumner yet! He was my all time FAVORITE bass growing up, and the reason I love bass notes today! Edit: Oh, and yes, I know that JD Sumner doesn't have the lowest bass notes, but he held the record in the Guinness book of world records for years!
Avi's Natural Disaster G1 Geoff's Warriors or Oogie Boogie E1 Mitch Grassi's Take on ME A2 Something from Kevin Olusola I mean, great video tho, it really is
I had too many G1s already and I did avi for G#1 so I didn’t want to do back to back Geoff E1 in warriors is prob his most clear so should have done that Yh I guess I could have done that for Mitch and Kevin And the A0 is not Tim here’s a video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M-A6t-1OOvE.html
@@Marcell0Bass I forgot to re-edit this afterwards, I did find out that it was edited (Tim) But I do want to ask, could Kevin have had some inclusion here? Also, where'd you get the isolated Geoff F#1?
Nice video. I don't think Nic Val Bb0 was chest, I saw a comment from him saying his lowest CHEST VOICE note is Bb1. 20:44 That video seems to be lowered a semitone, there's another one with the same song J. D slides down from A2 to E0, then from E0 to E2.
@@Marcell0Bass There's a brazilian guy on RU-vid saying J. D hitted a E0, in fact, I also heard a E, not a G. The comment about Nic Val lowest chest note is somewhere in "The Oktavism Channel." Edit: I'm not criticizing you. Actually, you do a very good job!
I know you asked a very long time ago, so if you’re still awaiting an answer, I have it at last! called “I Belong to You (Mon cœur s’ouvre à ta voix)” and it’s on the album The Resistance 😊 one of my faves. Enjoy!
That Zakkary dude is insane I mean I thought I was a pretty low bass for my age dude looks like he's in his 20s and he's singing in the 0 octave like dang
@@Marcell0Bass whoa! You are still reading comments on such an ancient video. Well, I always wanted to say, that when people go into the bottom of the 1st octave and deeper, everything sounds pretty much the same. And technically these notes might be both: technics I hear and technics you hear. I've tried doing the same sound like on 18:45, but with fry, and I got it. I can make the exact same sound like on 18:58 using growl (not reaching 0 octave, but the timbre is the same), so... It's technically impossible to classify such low notes for sure
The world record for the lowest note for a woman is a D2. However an older woman has supposedly hit a Bb1, which also happens to be my lowest note ever.
@@reubenthomas3065 Did you know that there's a woman who went slightly below the piano? I physical heard it when I was watching a low note compilation on RU-vid. That video said the note was around a G0.
Yesterday night I've reached G0, and I thought amazing, must be the first to reach it or something, then I saw the title of this video "C0". Now I wanna go even further!! >:D
