You can't pre-book public ferry.It will be available as per the schedule interval.

hey! thanks for your information! so i'll land at the male airport in december on MONDAY around 11.30 am. is it possibile to take this ferry to maafushi the same day (monday) or do i have to take it the next day? THANKS so much!

Yes you can take the Ferry of 3PM. Just carry 1 Dollar ( no chnage) from Airport to Henveiru Ferry Terminal, wait for Maafushi Ferry from there.

Yes it's $1 but They will not give change. Rufiya will be chaper than $.

Hi, You will get frequent ferry from Airport to Henveiru Ferry Terminal , Male City. From Henveiru Ferry Terminal to Maafushi 3PM every day ( except Friday) and Tuesday,Thursday & Sunday 10 AM. I will suggest you to stay at Male City or Hulhumale City overnight then next morning take ferry to Maafushi. Pls subscribe my channel.

Ferries depart from Malé daily at 3:00 PM(last Time); and Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday an additional ferry departs at 10:00 AM. Public ferries depart Maafushi daily (except for Fridays) at 7:30 AM and an additional ferry at 12:45 PM

Why in other videos and on the internet it says Villingili terminal for maafusi? I mean, has it changed recently to the henveiru terminal or they change the terminal randomly? I am a bit confused because I can't get this information anywhere on the Internet.

I also done same mistake and waste my time & money to see other video. For Maafushi take ferry from HENVEIRU terminal at 3PM.( Same terminal where you will reach from Airport.
