I know I’m late to the party but just saw the stingray Rip caught and released. My brother in-law and live in the Bay Area we go out and catch stingrays and leopard sharks just for the thrill . Great video thanks for sharing.
Steve Erwin, may he rest in peace. wow, what are the chances of him getting stung exactly into his heart...it must have truly been his time. Fun video! thanks for all your hard work!✌😏
Love this episode. The best compliment you can give fishermen is honest interest in his fishing. We love to talk about what we fish for, what we fish with, how big was our biggest, and of course, the one that got away. I'm sure you made his day.
My husband and I found yall completely on accident and just spent the last 4 days binge watching every episode. We just got a 21ft travel trailer, and now I'm so inspired to see more. I can't wait to see what is in store this season!
Funny story, we were looking at Rv's on youtube from dealerships and then your RV basics video popped up with autoplay. Then we noticed that you have 3 kids like us and have an F-150, which my husband has been trying to convince me has enough room for our 3 kids. Since ya'll have 3, he was using you as an example to prove there is more than enough room....and then, of course, we just got addicted to your vlog.
Great video!! So much to see and do in Malibu. Thank you for sharing about the RV park and prices. I really like museums too so I enjoyed hearing all about this one. Sting ray fishing.....cool!
Trish and Marc you and your family are so awesome. I love watching your videos. I never knew Santa Barbara is so beautiful- great video. I live in Florida and knew nothing about California. Thank you.
Love this video! I stayed at Malibu RV Park last October, an amazing place...ended up connecting with a bunch of Canadian RVers and we cycled some amazing places! I also used Lyft to go to the pier...great and cheap service if you don’t have alternate modes of transport. Spent 5 nights there, didnt want to leave!
Your journey is awesome. My wife and I just purchased out 1st RV less then a year ago and i have to say Listen to Tricia's Podcast and now your youtube helped get my wife to say yes! to the RV that is... hopefully will run into to you guys on the road some day, Thanks for sharing.
Me and my wife have not made the leap to full time RV yet but we do have a RV on a campsite we stay at in the summer. But watching your videos and a few others sure do help.
I hope when you are in Oregon you get the chance to visit the Multnomah Falls. Now those are falls that are not only breathtaking but a short hike to get to.............
FINALLY! I'm caught up. I binged watched the first two seasons with a 2 or 3 week intermission when my wife and I bought out first travel trailer. This week I'm all caught up to speed......oh wait! What's this? Pod casts.....how many of them? Guess I better get to work. I've thoroughly enjoyed your entire family on each and every episode and am looking forward to your next. 😀
LOL. Only 107 episodes of the podcast! But if you hit our website and click episodes and then click RV... you can get only the RV related episodes. However, everyone's story is about "Keeping your daydream" and there is something to learn about making it happen. Keep in touch. More videos to come! *And then there are the deleted scenes :)
So glad he let the ray go! They are my favorite sea creature. As a kid we had 2 of those big black Bible Story books. Every 50 pages or so there were beautiful full color pages. On book had a sting ray in it and the other, the most gorgeous photo of heaven. I !over those books, so good memories!
This episode was pretty amazing, since I've only driven this stretch of 1 for like a thousand times! A cab driver for a while in Oxnard, and when the Seabees came in from VietNam deployments, we'd take them five at a time to LAX (LA Airport) to head home on leave... And, when I was stressed, I'd ride my motorcycle out to Point Mugu, and around the corner to the ocean stretch of 1 for relaxation... Never knew that RV park was up there... Have eaten at most of the cheaper restaurants in Malibu... And been to LACMA for the art... Thanks for sharing...
Seeing this with the man.. We just made the plan to do our RV full time when we retire from teaching.. Just came home from a 3 week trip to southern california and back to Texas.. Went to visit a friend in La Quinta.. yikes 123 degree .. it was too hot for our Travel trailer!! the AC couldn't keep up! We need to travel during off season!! Can't wait to retire!!
We've been hearing that a lot about the A/C's. You're right about traveling in the right season. We've been traveling with the breeze. One thing we've learned from RVing so long is the States seem small now. If you're traveling from TX, you can be in FL with just one night at Walmart on the way. If you can take a week off, you can get to a breeze so that AC isn't overloaded.
Great video as always. 90210!!! Ugh... I always rooted for Dillon and Brenda. =) I watched that show growing up AND Melrose's Place. Ahhhh the 90's. Hope Tori did well on her SAT's. That Airstream thing is AWESOME!!!
I SAW!! I really appreciate that and look forward to it. I have already commented on new video AND emailed you. Excitement is real! Even sweeter you mentioned my husband's nickname I said in a random comment. GREAT memory.
Marc! You have become quite the expert with that drone! Amazing footage! Living vicariously thru you and your family and these wonderful episodes! Enjoy!
My Home my stomping grounds looks like you guys had a wonderful time. The Malibu RV Park $$$. I really enjoy your videos thank you for all the information 🤙🏼
thank you Watching you guys really changed my mind on buying my travel and traveling. I have a four year old girl who is growing fast and I'm already a 42 year old young man 😎...so I'm purchasing mine on my birthday in August so I'll be ready for next summer. My wife even started watching season 2. She would like to see devils den and New Orleans.Keep up the good work. Kevin from Alabama
ARG! You guys are killing me. My home state and I know exactly where you guys are.The Redwoods are my heart and the ocean is my soul. I'm land locked now in the desert so I really enjoy seeing your videos!!!! Mo
So Awesome!!! I Love SoCal!!! The hike at the beginning was what I got see and do everyday in my beautiful city of Rancho Cucamonga!!! Keep the adventure rolling north and remember to Live-Life-Loud!!!
Another great video guys. I stayed at that park many years ago with a rental RV, amazing location! Was also in Los Angeles back in February and took a drive out that way for some memories!
Thanks for the tips on the target totes for the freezer and fridge. I have an ice keeper that is not working as well as what Tricia got! I'm off to Target to get three for our rig!
"That's code for, you're looking at RV butts." ROFL!😂😂😂😂 Welcome to the "Bu"! Some of the most amazing hiking and such a beautiful area. On a side note...WE DID IT!!! We are joining the ranks and setting out to create our own RV Adventures, we just bought a truck and 5th wheel!!! Your channel has been such an inspiration, informative and entertaining! Wish I could have met your amazing family while you were in town. See you out on the highways and byways! You guys ROCK! - Rick
Love that you are coming my way. Can't wait to see where you go in Washington. There are some beautiful places up here. On your way through Washington make sure to hit Bellingham as it is a great little town with wonderful breweries.
Keep them coming. Just a few more weeks for us so I love all the ideas. I have to ask is Tricia wearing a Mexican Adidas jumpsuit? I like it. Great idea with the bins.
I know this comment is on a video several years old at this point. I just found you guys and we recently bought an RV to start exploring with my wife, my 5 year old daughter, 2 year old son and our puppy. What’s the bike rack you were using here. I have a soft tonneau covers and am looking for a solution. I am up to date on your new stuff but am only just now on this season of your old stuff! Love the content, new and old.
Not watching this one yet( we've just started your second season lol) but wanted to say you guys are awesome, me and the wife are watching you guys instead of regular shows. we've owned an RV for a year or so and just now switched to a more comfortable fifth wheel. We are planning to do something similar to you guys at one point(when time and money allows for bigger longer travels). Thanks for the info about places to go.
Always take the 1! Love the PCH. My favorite drive in America. Great drone footage! Can't imagine having to walk so far to play tennis...#Buproblems 😉😂 Thanks for introducing us to some locals. And thank you for still posting on what must be a frustrating weekend with truck issues. Hope you are all safe and they fix your truck quickly without astronomical expense. 😵
Buproblems... Trish laughed out loud. Good one. Yes, was up until 2am last night. Had to finish the video after the tow truck left around 10:30. Long day. The video should be good. Will know if it's a fuel pump or not on Monday.
Keep Your Daydream hope the truck fix goes well. Not the best way to spend Father's Day. I think we might have to check out that rv park in Malibu on the "off season" though. No $200 sites for us.
Yeah, we're not really a travel guide. That would be nice. We typically do three things per destination and record those things. We normally miss a lot, but we only have a few days in each location.
Whenever we're hanging at the Boo pad we just have our boy jet us around the place in the cart dude. How else could we play through the back yard 9? You must be tripping bra!! Just keep'n it real dog. Another great vlog btw. You guys pack so many activities into all your posts. Always non stop something going on.
We are heading out to Santa Barbara today. Would be cool to meet you all. But I'm thinking you have possibly moved on from there by now. Awesome episode!! Thanks you guys!!
Keep Your Daydream I figured as much. Have a wonderful time in OR. We just went on our first RV trip last weekend. (Just to a local place to test things out). This Friday we are doing a loop to Williams, AZ. (Doing the train then Checking out Slide Rock Park in Sedona the following day) then heading up to Bryce Canyon then to Zion (staying at Zion River Resort) then heading home. Should be a blast. We are going to start posting some videos from our trip on my daughters RU-vid channel if you are interested in seeing our trip! (Of course they won't be as amazing as your episodes). Her channel is "Adventures Of Paisley". Have a wonderful journey! And thanks for sharing with us!
Keep Your Daydream, 1:18, I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!! Where is that museum and what is it called? I forgot to ask in the last video but, what college is Tori going to attend? Another great video by the way!!! My dad and I are planning on doing a trip from the West Coast all the way to the East Coast and back. We want to explore every state and see what each state looks like do some touristy things in each state. That trip is being planned right now. It's now certain that we're going to do it. We want to do it though when I graduate high school in 2019.
if u ever come back to LA u need to visit the Grand central market, the grove and farmers market they are both next to each other, go to vista hermosa park best view of LA, THE FREE observatory at the LA city hall the view is amazing, little Tokyo, Palos Verdes, Self-Realization Fellowship Temple
What do you guys do when you get close to holidays? Do you start booking your next stop further in advance? I know you mentioned you had your first three months fully booked then went to a more spontaneous schedule. We're doing two months in our 5th wheel through Badlands, Rushmore, Arches, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, San Antonio, and Destin we've only booked the Destin Campground because we've been there and it gets booked fast. Love your channel!
You nailed it. We do our very best to estimate where we'll be around holiday weekends and book in advance. It's really hard because we don't like being rushed to be somewhere by a certain time. So... we've been using Harvest Hosts as our go to Plan B. They are normally available and free.
I am trying to find Season 3 episode 60? is there one? I have enjoyed your videos, I am on the east coast but would love to one day make it to the west cost with my camper. But for the most part I am a local camper and have only ever traveled about 2 hours from home.
The ONLY acceptable chowder is genuine NewEngland Clam 'Chowdah'😉 I'm curious....when one catches a shark, who reaches into its' mouth to remove the hook for a catch & release?😆 Another enjoyable video....THANKS!💚
I reach in and I release every fish unharmed. My goal is to return every fish healthy. I catch about 200 sting rays a year. All returned to the ocean to live another day. Fishing is releasing.
It was nice. The RV Parks are limited. There is a state park at carpinteria, but there were only a few sites that could accommodate rigs over 21. Pair it up it San Luis Obispo!
Any chance you could explain what address you use? I've been trying to research this and I'm having a hard time figuring out what you use as a permanent address for drivers license, taxes etc. I'm about to sell my house and am looking at trailors. Any info would be a great help! Love your videos.
Prepare? I think online. I'm fairly sure she wanted to see how it went and can review results. We heard if students study from their first take, they do far better second time.
Your video quality on this video was super sharp. But you should get rid of that Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce. Because I just made my first sweet bbq sauce yesterday and wait til you guys try it. I also have a spicy one as well.
