The movie was bonkers. And I fucking loved every minute of it

Sorry to break it to you that guy but it's not a masterpiece cause having the monster over powered and the only way to defeat him is through emotions and this cliche scenario of someone telling another person to snap out of it and you are stronger than him. You must control him etc. Also all horror movie and the genre itself are trash and the only thing that was enjoyable in the entire movie or any horror movie would be the action or the story like the idea of having a twin devil sharing the same brain and sort of the same body or atleast was is pretty new and original I ll give them that. And the action was pretty badass but the horror is ass and that's not to say this is negative thing about the movie but rather all the other ones. It's very rare to see a horror movie that know what is legit scary and setting the atmosphere in a sneaky way without making it obvious to the audience that a jump scare would happen and tbh I am not a fan of the whole jumpscare idea. I would rather be scared of a chase scene or a mysterious place or a creature etc. Than a fucking jumpscare or relying on violent and gore which never scares me but rather makes me cringe and disgusted. You can also scare me by threatening a character to die or get harmed rather than actually doing it or atleast if you want to do it then do it off screen and I would still get the idea of him dying and being shocked about it without having to see this disgusting shit of his intestine bursting out with shit or his eyes popping out and exploding in my face

@@teamofwinter8128 I never said this movie was a masterpiece, I just said it was underrated. Look up the word if u dont know what that word means. Malignant wasn't the greatest movie of the year, but I enjoyed it, which is my opinion. I'm not the only one either, rotten tomatoes has this movie at a 76% which is pretty good. My friends also enjoyed it, as well as Drumdums and Cody Leach, 2 of my favorite movie reviewers here on RU-vid. Now if u didn't like this movie and just hate horror movies in general, then good for u, that's your opinion.
