Throughout the course of the New York Giants 2024 NFL Training Camp so far, rookie WR Malik Nabers has taken their team and social media by storm. Through practice, joint practices vs the Detroit Lions prior to the 2024 NFL Preseason, etc, Malik Nabers has dominated by almost every stretch imaginable. And from what’s been seen so far, Malik Nabers could potentially take Daniel Jones, Brian Daboll, & this New York Giants offense to new heights.
To start with the New York Giants offense, this was a very disappointing unit last season. But with the return of Daniel Jones, who has looked improved compared to the 2023 NFL season, Malik Nabers will seemingly compliment the rest of this WR room in Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt, Daniel Bellinger, Isaiah Hodgins, Allen Robinson, etc. And not to mention with their new backfield in Devin Singletary along with Tyrone Tracy Jr, it’ll be interesting to see how Brian Daboll & Mike Kafka try to utilize these new pieces, especially with the Giants offensive line improvements with guys like Jon Runyan.
Then in terms of the New York Giants defense, this will also be an area of the team to monitor. With their new addition in Brian Burns dominating so far throughout NY training camp, along with other pieces in Dexter Lawrence, Bobby Okereke, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Deonte Banks, Dru Phillips, etc, new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen will have an interesting core of players to try and improve from what they did in 2023.
