Hibs have been crying out for someone with proper football experience working higher up in the club closely with the board, got this decision spot on IMO.
Coming in to do a very different job than being a manager at Ross county. As for the off field controversy that was about 10 years ago and he deserves a second chance

the interviewer is terrible eh? "Yeh, absolutely"! To be fair to the guy, he badly needs media training... why on earth have the club not helped him with that? Mind you, Ive no idea why he's in the role, it was probably forced onto him, he doesn't sound comfortable at all speaking.
Why is he been giving such a massive job & to give him all decisions on the football side while still paying & having Brian McDermott there is completely strange to say the least. Why not just give him the managers job & let McDermott do what he’s paid to do.

We really do not know what the overall strategy is going to be. Malky Mackay sounds professional. That is it so far. In contrast David Gray has not come across very well in interviews especially after the Livingston game. Not inspiring which is disappointing. Would love this combination to do well. Where Brian McDermott comes in to this is a mystery at present. Hope the Black Knights have a formula to combine everything. Have a season ticket and somewhat hopeful anyway 😀

I would rather wait and see and use the consortiums money first before spending my cash on they're experiment . It could be that in a. couple of years time the non season ticket buying fans save the club from going down the pan
Is anyone perfect? If you don't make mistakes in life you don't learn. I like him his experience in football is probably his biggest skill set in his long career he'll have seen all walks of life, all types of people, all types of scenarios and all types of players. Coaches, managers you name it he's probably seen it. The fact he's wearing a green suit and wants to do well for our club should be all that matters. All that past stuff should be left at the door. Here's hoping what he says comes through and things improve, I can only speak for myself but I've never felt more disengaged from the club in the 37 years of supporting it. So much needs to change off and especially on the pitch.

Yes clubs like Hibs .Don's.Dundee .and united. Hearts should be trying to win SPl. Employ head coach and staff who want to give 100% effort for club that hs employed them and not interested in their previous club position
