MALTA - Tarxien Temples and Hypogeum 

In the Maltese city of Paola, there are are two fantastic prehistoric sites dating back to 4000-3000 B.C.
The Terxien Temples with their megalithic structures are there earliest example of man made self standing structures in the world and the Hypogeum which is a amazing burial underground escavated temple resembling the above ground Temples. It is fantastic but unfortunately no video/photos were allowed inside.
