Also, about spite, "In the Malus darkblade novels, when Malus first bought him he was described as smaller than average for a cold one. Later, Spite fought and survived against beastmen, despite having nearly lethal wounds. Impressed by this, Malus gave him his name. Later on in the book series, Spite is written to be quite big, so we can assume he grew over time. Also, both the 7th and 8th edition armybooks have Spite being stronger than a regular cold one, in addition to his rule about being smarter. So we can assume that Spite was small at some point, but later grew to be as big or bigger than other cold ones."
As you said, a little better placement of the executioners couldve completely changed that game but honestly i think the biggest hinderence you had what purely the terrain heavily inhibiting your chosen build, which as youve discussed in games before, is just the nature of the game and something that cant be changed
That was really enjoyable to watch. You must be great fun to play against for a competent player. I thought you were screwed for a while but in this and everything else I've seen you play, your clutch skills are immense.

If i recall correctly from the books, he was always smaller but he was a lot smarter than other cold ones, and extremely loyal, something most cold ones lack
Spite was the runt of the litter and remained smaller than the rest throughout However! For some reason C.L. Werner decided to claim that Spite was a horned one, and pretty big. Not sure why considering it contradicts the other novels
I feel like every game I see where a player doesnt bring magic to punish the relatively immobile firesworn blobs is a game where that player loses. I'd argue that beast magic cost you the game too... Still such a good cast and game tho, love me some hot malus action!
Frankly I don't really see the point of bringing a beast caster here, the manticore summon does little if it can't kill an artillery piece. Other options like death caster with Fate of Bjuna or shadow one with Pit of Shades would contribute more against the chorf elite infantry. Har Ganeth Executioners is a unit I really want to like, but they are really vulnerable to missiles, magic and heavy cavalry charges. Even if they had survived the initial rush, I think Hashut's Dark Ravagers or fire spells would've had plenty of chances to clear them out. Darkshards could potentially do wonders here since they do AP and outrange blunderbusses, but they are really vulnerable to magma cannons.
its an extra unit to help out, cause Terror routs, and shut down ranged play, whether that be archers, Blunderbuss, or artillery. obviously dont know what build Felkon will go with, and it has some synergy with the cav rush. There are certain lores of magic and spells that are clearly better than others, but we're not playing for the MLG championships here, its occasionally fun to experiment and work in some variety. Executioners are definitely a tricky unit to make work against good players. I dont regret bringing them, but I did have to work harder to protect them which ultimately cost me

Malus faces a problem common to most trans people. If he defines himself as a demon before having completed the transition process, he can suffer a psychological breakdown, and permanent physical damage.
"This dude is pretty hard to kill" is the best Malus adaptation we can hope for at this point. His campaign mechanics is terrible,. his unique missions barely ever spawn, compete with infinite generic missions for the mission slots, and if you can't complete them in time they are cancelled forever in that campaign. And there is a 40 turn cooldown on getting a unique mission...
@@Guaguadeath that's why I don't get it why the DE didn't bring any missile troops. DE missile units are good and armour piercing and an ideal counter to chaos dwarves' heavy armour.
Gather round the rocking chair kids, gather round. It’s time for Millennial grandpa story hour. Basically, in a game between rival NBA teams (Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons), and in an era in which the league was generally more physical, a shoving and trash talk scuffle broke out between the players. The mood in the Detroit crowd worsened as the confrontation on the court continued, and at one key point, a fan threw a beer at Pacer’s player Ron Artest. Artest went into the stands to retaliate (ironically grabbed and hit the wrong guy), other Pacers players went into the stands to support Artest… and then the scene basically descended into pandemonium. At one point a fan went down on the court to confront the Pacers players (and got his clock cleaned, obviously). It was a long time before staff could get the Pacers off the court and into the locker rooms, which kinda diffused the situation. *The whole incident came to be known as “Malice at the Palace” because the Pistons arena had “Palace” in the name.

Cold one mounts have horrible animations and mass Which is part of why they under perform so frequently. just one of the things that CA has made little or no attempt to ever fix
Ever since the chaos Draves came out Warhammer 3 campaign or skirmish battles no longer load for me. The game doesn't even work it's been out for how long? I've had Warhammer 1&2 never once have I had this problem, gonna just uninstall for some extra space.
