The way Freya jumps straight up is SO funny. I have my own cat levitation story: my cat had no idea what was in toilet bowls when she was a kitten, but she was so curious because we always kept the lid closed. So one day when she’s about 12 weeks old she follows me into the bathroom and, the moment I open the lid, she jumps right into the toilet. Was she ever surprised to find it was filled with water! She levitated straight up and zoomed right out of the bathroom so fast-and of course I had to chase a kitten covered in toilet water all over the house. That was probably her first bath, too, so double the indignity. Postscript: I’d love to say “she learned her lesson that day” but about a week later she jumped up on the seat of the toilet and then slipped and fell in.
