ET sat down with the 38-year-old reality star and her daughter Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson on Monday in New York City days ahead of the season 2 premiere of their show Mama June: From Hot to Not.
Well June allow Anna to be sexually abused by her boyfriend Mark McDaniel and that June call Anna a liar when there was evidence of Mark June boyfriend sexually abusing Anna when she was little and that June blame Anna when Mark McDaniel went to prison for sexually abusing another girl and that June allow Mark to be around Alana and June had enough from the Honey Boo Boo to fix her sight she didn't want too. I call it karma for June who dated two convicted sex offenders.
Alana has such a good personality and you can tell it's genuine and not scripted. Most kids in her position are selfish and hateful. I believe she truly has a good heart and that will follow her through life.
Honey boo boo has become a great mature lady with her mam,s best interest at heart.I hope Honey gets to do and what she loves best .Also for June, I wish you all the best but you already have it with your girls .

Everyone is being pretty harsh saying she’s already gained so much weight back. Yes, she has gained weight but imagine the stress of going blind, and usually overweight people take comfort in food, I’d imagine she’s very scared and uncomfortable.
She's always had this issue and has been going blind all her life, especially her adult life. Also, watch her reality show where she lost the weight. She uses a smartphone and reads the screen. She's read from papers and appears to be able to see things throughout the show. She does embellish her stories as she deems necessary, therefore, is less credible. I just don't believe stress is causing her to regain the weight (which took more than a year to lose). She never lost the weight for any good reason (lost it to make her ex-husband and his new wife jealous, but those two still got married and her efforts there proved nothing long term) and it appears she failed to get any counselling to learn to maintain her weight and avoid food temptations. She just didn't have a healthy foundation to begin with. Alana is not good for her, even if she is her daughter, because she is an obnoxiously loud, out of control child.
Abby Marie; Yes, my disagreeing with your assessment that stating people need to feel shame for noticing and commenting on her weight gain (I see your edited comment, did you delete that part, or is it there still a different comment?) Aren't you the one who said you are a nurse, and that you know how people gain weight back, so we should all be ashamed for commenting? Also, she's in the limelight and comments are going to happen. She puts herself out there documenting the entire event, of course people are going to notice. By the way, I stated how to find the proof for one's self. Watch the past videos. That is not an opinion, it is fact. When you respond with, ..."but it's your opinion lol", that is simply being condescending.

SJ N also I’ve never said they need to feel shame, it may be rude but I don’t think someone should feel “ashamed” for commenting on someone’s weight, though it is quite rude.
Alana has a pretty face. I hope she loses weight before it's too late. June has refined herself a bit even when she was against it. She used to say: "This is the way I am. What you see is what you get. If you don't like it that's your problem, not mine".
Mama June has gone through a lot, but through it all she remains strong as well as her loving and caring family, they have a strong bond, which I so admire.
My best friend went blind because her retinas detached. She's very independent. She cooks ( I mean full dinners every night), cleans, watches her grandkids etc. I have watched her put on make up by feeling where it needs to go. You would never believe how much she can do.

It something that takes patience. My mom has been blind since she was three and she is very independent. If you have he mind that you can’t then you will always rely on people. My moms pays her bills, checks her mail, and goes out, etc. I hate when people act like being blind means they can’t do anything for themselves now. You have to be willing to learn and utilize your resources.

erin mefford that’s not the end of the world you know. I’m sure they’ll figure out a sleep room solution eventually. Just a little house rearranging it happens in a lot of families.
Wow she is packing weight back on. Alana is going to ruin her skin everything with th obesity she is so pretty but I imagine it is affecting her health
Going blind is my worst fear. So much of what I love is based on my vision. Like how could I admire myself through the mirror without my eye-sight? That's my favorite hobby.
To go through all of that pain and misery of weight loss surgery and skin removal to gain it back is just awful. I understand she's stressed about going blind. I developed a severe type or artritis called reactive or Reuters. I ended up losing eyesight for years. It finally came back but my eyes are damaged. Some days I can't see much with my glasses. Ither days my vision is ok. It's hard doing anything when you go blind. You can eat healthy no matter what but exercising and stuff is very hard. I hope she gets back on track and gets her kids on a healthy diet. And I hope she finds the joy in life no matter what happens. I will keep her in my prayers.
Why are people so mean ? She has been thought so much. She worked her butt off to lose the weight. If you was her & has to seat in that chair face down for a month you would gain weight to.. if anyone had anything like done to your eyes knows you can’t do to much & pick up thing because may mess your eye back up. So stop being mean to them. Like I’ve been told. If you can’t say nothing nice don’t say anything at all. Keep your head up Mama June praying for you 🙏
That’s horrible hopefully her kids will have the patience and put themselves in her shoes. And she was there for those events she just couldn’t see so consider yourselves lucky. Because a lot of kids don’t have their parents presence at all.

Maybe instead of cotton wool wrapping her obesity, grown ups should teach her how she can die 30 years earlier than all her friends if she doesn't stop with the junk food and no exercise ...and that's not including possibly losing HER OWN eyesight, or even a limb from diabetes along the way! My point stands, and that is, that if bleeding hearts alone worked to save the morbidly obese persons life; hell the majority of obese people in the Western World would be healthy as F! So let me ask the question... Considering that society has created a bleeding heart style "I'm triggerred" culture for just about every minority group "suffering" with some supposed injustice (an injustice BTW, that of course had nothing at all to do with those peoples own poor decisions/excuse-making), how's it working for us as a society? That's what I thought. I rest my case. Tough love is required. We've already tried saturating society with all the excuses in the book, and given every minority group a "no-fault out" of all their consequences... and, well, it simply keeps people in denial, and puts the onus back on other people to accept those flaws as opposed to actually fixing them.
Here is a fact, being blind of one eye does not debilitate you... I've been blind of my left eye for almost a year due to ocular melanoma and I can do everything I did before. She is just over reacting on the drama... beside a tumor in my eye, I have now stage IV melanoma with metastasis in the liver and lung, I developed glaucoma and cataract in my left eye too. So stop complaining and be thankful.
I love mama June and hpney boo boo they are from GA and so am I they let it all hang out and they are not. afraid of having fun no body is perfect my granddaughter Nikki and Alea love her and so do I I think Pumpkin and her husband are funny and the baby is so sweet I hope and pray Mama June will be ok we have the same problem in our family and I know what you all are going thru hell but keep on having faith in your mama honey boo boo and remember she loves all of you very much my daughter Tina met you at the skating rink in McDonough GA. There are plenty of blind people who learn to be independent to live a full life on their own. It won't be easy for sure but there are schools and people who will teach you and you can still let your kid be a kid. not saying she can't help you but can't relay on her to be the caregiver always. praying to God you get to keep the little sight you have in your eye now.
It always amazes me how people can be so critical and judgemental of others. God only knows what some of you would be like physically and mentally if you were to walk in their shoes from their past and in their present life. It's called LIFE and we all handle things differently. Soooo, maybe we all should think about things, before our fingers start pecking on our little keyboards.
Yes I seen the new season they need to give her sister her bedroom back put the baby in with the mom&dad in there bedroom.its not fair for that child not to have a bedroom of her own !no wonder she ran away from home went to her aunts house!
Stáfon Von Caḿron--If a baby isn't treated for blindness in time the visual part of their brain or optic nerve atrophies and it's not much use anymore. Her mother is (or was, don't know if she's still living) a piece of shit. Who the hell lets their baby go blind?
SFV Native ikr letting a baby go blind also June probably could’ve saved most of her sight if she had gone to the doctor as soon as she noticed the losing sight instead of ignoring it until almost complete blindness
Stáfon Von Caḿron she had major surgery on her left eye on season 2 and the show stopped airing about an episode later. I guess the new airing tomorrow will pick up there. I hate seeing her lose her sight.

She said she tells everyone she went blind in one eye when the reality show Here comes honey boo boo and then she said she went blind in the other eye with this reality show.

Alana is so young and she has a future in front of her, she looks so unhealthy. She needs to take care of herself physically or there is gonna be consequences in the future :(
Plenty of time for bariatric and plastic surgeries, but she couldn't attend to her deteriorating eyesight? Now she's packing the weight back on, and it's suddenly an issue. Seems awful fishy.

Please Mama June can still see some I can understand her having some problems but she should be able to do a lot of thing's yet. She doesn't seem to have problem on the show with getting around and do things. Oh maybe this will explain for excuse for her gaining more weight back. She already put on over 30 pds and it's not looking pretty either 🐖. She said she thought, felt she was to skinny and that's why she put some weight back on...Oh yes she said all she see's is shadows. Well that shadow be looking a bit larger now these days and growing more too 🐖 piggy.
