Been african bantu it doesn't necessarily make you understand what they saying you have to be somali and in this case bantu is somali clan.they speak maay and maxaa tiri and reside all of southern somalia.We extremely proud of it
They are different. Bantu people have different dialects than Somali. Somali also speak faster and some of the words are different. I AM Bantu so I know how to speak Mai-Mai and I can understand a bit of Somali but they are COMPLETELY different.
the dialect is not the only thing that makes them different. in the state of Puntland Somalia, Somali Bantus speak mudug, nugaal and reer Bari dialect. The best different is the fact that Somalis and Somali Bantus are from different ethnic groups.
let me just state this: not being disrespectful or anything....but bantu aren't clearly somali; they're slaves from south Africa brought to Somalia when slavery was accepted. Later, bantu's claimed they were "Somalians" which is fine but you can't just say your that something when your not.
ayan bashar don't be ignorant! The work Somali can mean you are ethnic Somali or It could also mean it's your nationality. No matter you ethnicity if you are from Somalia, you are Somali. Just like if you are from India or China you are Indian or Chinese but they have different make up. The fact that you don't know that simple information is shocking to me! Shame on you!
