Mamamoo is not underrated or under appreciated, it’s just that the standard by which you judge a artist and their song has been degraded over the last couple of years now. The true essence of music is not in how many likes and views it has, but is in what it conveys. The song that has the most likes or views need not necessarily be an outstanding song, it may just be what appeals to most people. True music is able to touch people in ways others cannot and is able to form a connection with an individual. Mamamoo’s songs convey real moods and emotions, it’s kinda upsetting that not everyone is able to see the amount of talent this group has. It is not your stereotypical kpop group, it is more than that, it consist of 4 beautiful and outstanding ladies who showcase their passion to the world. I hope that more people will be able to take note of this brilliant group and learn to appreciate the uniqueness they bring to this industry.
