I'm a fellow MeU too, and I think its because neither are overly sexualized or cute or follow the status quo like most other girl groups! That is what makes them so unique. They just make GOOD MUSIC and have great stages that don't follow into the stereotypical cute or sexy concept nearly every other girl group does, with the same old rehashed choreo!

Hwasa and Solar's expressions just lean more towards the classic 'sexy' expression, which is usually more 'flashy' or 'showy'(not in a bad way), and therefore shadow Moonbyul's and Wheein's more laid-back expressions. This used to happen more in their early days compared to now. MMM depends on ALL of the members to complete them, deduct one member and you just won't get that magic effect. They ALL pull up the group, TOGETHER

I believe MAMAMOO is the best girl group has ever been made. With just only 4 members, they can conquer the stage. PLUS (being lipsyncing is a big thing) Mamamoo always singing live, they deliver the emotions of the song extremely good, they are combination of pretty, sexy, cute, and charismatic, all of them are powerhouses, they can be sexy withouy showing skin, they can be cute even without aegyo, and they are beautiful the way they are. I love the group and I FREAKING LIVE THE LIGHTSTICKS! THAT IS SOME WITTY THING MAN

Moretti unfortunately thats how the world works. most people will fall for people's visuals before their talent that's why I'm so thankful for mamamoo, they have personality to go with their vocals and I'm not saying they aren't beautiful. they are! but again you know Korea's standard (let's not even go there). I'm glad that in the end talent wins over visual because they are supposed to be 'singers' ..yes idol too but idols are singers.
