Just got a hand-me-down cot with no instructions and as it's our first time doing this I'm so thankful you made his video. What a relief! Thanks again!
So grateful for this video. Had been struggling for well over an hour before I looked to see if there was any help as had forgotten what to do. Wonderful clear instructions. Thank you!
The wife bought a similar cot with no instructions. Thanks to your awesome video and technical explanation of the "wiggly strange things", not only did I make sense of it all, I had a good chuckle too. 3 years down the line and your still helping people so a big thank you. Btw hope you didn't hurt your head at 3:54!
Mac McCutcheon hi Mac, so glad it was of help. I hadn’t noticed the bump at 3:54 and just had a good laugh watching that. It’s rather embarrassing watching it because we only made it to send it to my brother but then couldn’t figure out a way of sending it to him so put it on RU-vid instead. So probably wouldn’t have sounded quite so silly if we had known so many would see it. Anyway it’s lovely that it has helped others! Hope your baby enjoys the cot. J
The fact that it sounded "silly" ,your choice of word!! :) , was what made it so enjoyable and not just another boring 'this is how to do it video'. You have no idea just how much Googling I did, trying to make sense of this Krypton factor nightmare the wife came home with until I stumbled across your excellent tutorial. I wish you and your family the very best and thanks again for the video, for taking the time to respond and for firmly entrenching "wiggly strange things" in my newly expanded vocabulary :) .
Thank you so much, you guys are awesome! Clear, excellent instructions. I've just inherited the Amelie cot, without instructions, m&p no longer provide the manuals. The screws and process to build the cot are identical to yours so this video worked a treat.
Brilliant video! Thank you. I’ve visitors coming in just over a week with a six / seven month old baby girl. Fortunately, I was able to borrow a cot. However, it was a difficult job knowing how to assemble it without the instructions in this video. Míle Buíochas. Joseph
thank you so much, I bought this beautiful cot second hand at a charity shop and surprisingly mamas and papas have already got rid of the instruction manual from their website, some very strange fixings I would have been very confused without this!
Very helpful, having just got a cot/bed out from my eaves for reuse I can now see that I am missing the fittings including the wiggly ones for the base. Pity as this cot will now likely end up being recycled rather than reused.
Thanks so much for making this vid guys. My Father-in-Law gave us this cot without any instructions. I thought it was going to be a complete nightmare but thanks to your video did it in real time,15 minutes. My wife's happy. Didn't tell her I had a video to help ha. Kind of makes me look really good. Thanks again guys brilliant x
So glad it was of use! We originally recorded it for my brother - we gave him our cot without instructions. I couldn’t work out how to send him such a large file so put it on RU-vid for him and am delighted it has helped others. Hope your baby likes it!
Great video, thanks 👍if you google Replacement Gravity Catch/Cot Side Fittings you can pick up all of the parts of its just the catch then search for Replacement Gravity Catch
Omg thanks you so much your video came in handy lost the instructions for the thing didn't have a clue what I was doing would of knowing how to do it but its my first baby and just can't wait till she's here and your video really did help ❤👌🙏
these are great instructions, but my problem is right at the start , the bolt holes in the cot ends and sides are not aligned exactly, so I cant insert the bolts finger tight. What is the best solution please, i have been struggling for far too long!
thank you for this very helpful video! If you are in the UK, might you or anyone reading this be able to advise where I can buy the right screws for a Mamas and Papas cot? We inherited their Vivienne cot (bought by my brother-in-law 11 years ago but never used) but the screws have been lost over these 11 years. I've checked in several major high street stores (B&Q, Toolstation, screwfix) but none of them have these screws - the z-type screws that connect the cot ends with the base and the rods and screws that make the rail system seem particularly specialised to Mamas and Papas... I'm trying to call Mamas and Papas customer service but no luck so far. Thanks in advance!
We were kindly given this cot but the poles are missing - does anyone know of a source for replacing these? Mamas and Papas, ebay and Amazon have borne no fruit... Thank you meanwhile for this excellent assembly demonstration!
Chrissie James thank you. Can u tell me the size of the bolts & parts u needed to put it together? I need to order some but don't know what size they are?
