This story is so touching and thanks Wambui for the good work! Now,I refuse to judge the Parties including the mother to these children.She must have reasons maybe why she behaved the way she did. Maybe she cries everyday when she thinks about her children who knows? What if she is reached,and talked to and is supported to bring up her children.It is one thing to help these kids but parental love is paramount,the parents are alive and sane and strong..! Why should these children grow in a children's home, is there a better way we can help them?

He made mistakes and yes his drinking affected the family greatly but I'm perplexed by his transparency most people never own up to their mistakes they blame it on something or someone because as much as the mother left if the father was sober he would be able to make sober decisions and protect the kid
