Trailer Power Assist (TPA) is a new heavy transport solution developed by Mammoet in cooperation with SCHEUERLE that greatly increases transport efficiency and safety. The TPA-system is based on the SCHEUERLE K25 trailer, which is fitted with a Power Pack Unit (PPU) that hydraulically powers 4 of the 6 axle lines. One TPA can replace at least two trucks in conventional heavy transport, limiting down the number of trucks required to pull and steer to just one - whilst greatly enhancing trailer combination versatility, maneuverability, and safety of the entire transport.
