so many memories, from Val being one of my first crushes on One Day at a Time, on to Van Halen being my favorite band with EVH being my favorite guitarist ever to Val and Ed getting married and Wolfie being born, to Ed's passing and now Wolfie all grown carving out a career of his own. the circle of life, what a ride. got this old guy getting misty-eyed too, Val. I get it! This old grandma, too. I remember in high school if everyone in class had their homework done for the entire week, and we always did, we had a half hour we could listen to music after having our Friday quiz. The best albums were VH1 and AC/DC. We couldn't listen loud, and we had to stay in our seats. Some of us would draw or write while bobbing our heads. It was a great time. One Day At A Time was a favorite TV show. Mr. Gross was a great teacher. I never did Algebra homework so enthusiastically!

As the song played, I was whisked back to the days of listening to VH's first album in the parking lot at HS. Eddie had so many contributions to music and shaped the landscape of guitar players and sound with that album. Now, his greatest contribution is carrying on his legacy, writing his own music with the love and support of mom and fiancée in tow. The totality of the moment brought me to tears...

Seeing him playing and in honor of his lineage, I finally get to mourn Eddie. VH was a huge deal for my friends and I in the middle/late 80’s. He looks like his mother, but Eddie is everywhere in him!

Saw them live earlier this year and they put on an electric show. Every parent wants their kid to be the best of both of them, and this guy seems to be exactly that. His band is great and so is the new album.

For someone that followed his father all my life as a guitar player and hearing his father's debut album I was completely hooked and I'm still trying to figure his dad's music out, this is extremely touching to watch, even after all these year's I follow his son now and even though his music is from this generation I am about as proud of this young man as I could be about my own son although I never had a son however I do have a grandson, he doesn't play music though so Wolfe takes his place in that respect, keep rocking son all your father's fans are your fans I would bet on it.

So awesome! this is the 3rd time I've watched this over the months. His band is great! We saw them here in SLC months back and they rocked! And Valerie and his wife are precious.
