It’s supposedly a 1 in 44 chance to have origin pulse miss both pokemon at the same time. To miss that again in the exact same way within 3 turns is CRAZY! The chances are exceedingly less still for that. That hurt to watch.

Honestly dude origin pulse is the worst move you can have , I’d rather have a water absorb Pokemon and just give kyogre surf.

Okay, but what are you gonna do if you lose the Water Absorb Pokémon early on in the match? You gonna damage your last two Pokémon with Mystic Water/ Choice Specs + rain-boosted Surfs? You gonna run a full Water Absorb/ Storm Drain team, making you weak to Rillabooms and Miraidons? Maybe add a 3rd Water-type move to cover for Surf’s friendly fire, but in return lose important coverage moves that Kyogre may need.

No risk equals no reward. I've seen several Mons take one on the chin for their team to win. No only that, but O Pulse is essentially Hydro Pump but can hit both for big damage. Sure it's not as accurate as we'd prefer but imagine how bs it would be if they gave it Calyrex accuracy.
